5.0 out of 5 stars Amazing value, Outstanding 720p picture, 25 Aug. 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Had this tv for 2 days. 50" is huge but excellent cinematic experience at home. The blu ray picture is almost but not quite perfect as only 720p. You can sometimes see some pixels, although i sit very close to the screen. The colours are realistic yet vivid. The motion has virtually zero judder, the blacks are endless perfect black. I am in 2 minds to swap it for an LG 50 inch 1080p for an extra £70 but i have noticed a few negative reviews for LG plasmas breaking down and also electrical disturbance with wifi. If anyone has any info on this pls comment. To get another Panasonic in this size in 1080p will cost alot more. A minor note on this telly it does make a quiet hissing noise which gets louder the more the brightness us turned up. It is s top quality telly and huge.

It only has info on bars, restuarants and nightclubs. No other info. If thats what you are looking for then this is the guide for you. Don't expect any info on the people, the culture of the city or any thing else.

1.0 out of 5 stars I dont get it, 1 Sept. 2007
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
I read the other reviews and thought this book sounded great. I practise martial arts and wanted to learn more about zen. Basically for me, I dont like this book because I dont understand it. I read the same lines over and over unable to fathom what she was talking about. Sorry Ms.Joko Beck. Maybe ill read it again in 20 years time and say oh i get it, but i doubt it.

5.0 out of 5 stars Clear & Useful, 1 Sept. 2007
This book is clear and interesting. The writers style is interesting and you are able to learn from this book. It basically does what it says on the tin and is insightful on a subject which other writers only confuse you more about. Joe writes clearly and is living in the real world unlike other writers on this subject. In the book he refers to various lessons he learned from his own martial arts training and experiencees. You learn lessons he learned whilst training with the late great Bruce Lee. A very good book on a difficult subject which anyone will be able to enjoy and understand.
