Epic Conclusion, 2 Nov 2012
The Dark Knight Rises was without a doubt the epic conclusion to the Dark Knight saga that any Batman fan was expecting. The Dark Knight Rises explores an area of Batman never before explored by any other Batman film. TDKR sees Bruce wayne shaken by the events of the Dark Knight, the chaos caused by Two-face and the Joker, despite the fact that he is not mentioned during the film, has had an definable impact on both the Caped Crusader and Gotham itself. Wayne is now a recluse and without a major threat, for now Gotham appears safe. That is of course until new enemy Bane arrises with the new aim of bringing Gotham to its knees.
The film combines dark elements of the previous two films that we loved as well as bringing in new character relationships and adrenaline pumped action scenes that will leave you on the very edge of your seats. I have read previous reviews on Amazon saying that the film is too long, but let me leave you with a question. Can a film in the Dark Knight Saga ever be too long?
