5.0 out of 5 stars A Must For Architects, Planners & Even Students in Practise, 7 Oct. 2011
I was introduced to this book whilst on work experience in an architect's office and it has been by my side ever since. There is not a single bit of technical data that this book has failed to provide me so far as it's written in extreme depth, exploring all aspects of planning, design and production in many builds and scenarios. It's use of and reference to regulations make it an extremely valuable resource as building regs these days are difficult to work with.

It is a must have for any practise or office and is a valuable resource for students studying degrees particularly in building design and the built environment.

5.0 out of 5 stars A Must For Art Students and Enthusiasts, 21 April 2011
This is a great book if you need information about a movement but do not know where to start. Not only does this book give you in-depth and to-the-point info on art movements - it also tells you which artists you may decide to read further into, similarities in movements and makes very clear which movements should not be associated with each other, and also where to find the arts in exhibits around the world. Going chronologically through the art movements, it helps you comprehend just what direction art was taking through the years.

As I said above, it is an absolute must for art students and enthusiasts and evidently as it's helping me very well on my National Diploma course.

5.0 out of 5 stars A Good Starting Point, 19 April 2011
It's a good starting point for finding architects, companies and movements which you may decide to do further reading on. Also quite a smartly presented box set. Definitely good value for money.
