5.0 out of 5 stars AT LAST A CUBER/DICER THAT YOU CAN MAKE DOG FOOD WITH IN BITE SIZED PIECES, 7 April 2016
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
bought this from presto supplies on amazon uk. needed it only for cutting and dicing meat and offal for our 2 dogs. we spend days doing 1 months food at a time and it is a real strain on your hands to do that much cutting. that said the dicer attachment is worth the money alone! small cubed pieces that are done in seconds and not in hours. sleek and compact so folds away neatly and everything well made and not feeling flimsy or cheap. very well designed and made piece of kitchen equipment. - can't praise enough the help from PRESTO SUPPLIES who we purchased this from - very happy and so glad i found it!

5.0 out of 5 stars Jane Eyre - Timothy dalton version dvd, 21 April 2009
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
I thought after watching the BBC 2006 version of Jane Eyre that Toby Stevens who played Mr. Rochester was the most admirable Mr. Rochester I had ever seen - that is until I came by this DVD.

Timothy Dalton is absolutely SUPERB! He just has you mesmerised from start to finish!

When I grew up I only knew of Timothy Dalton because he was the "voice-over" for an advert on TV for "Brains Faggots" (what a claim to fame!!) He then got the part of James Bond and that's how he came to world wide notice.

I was expecting something a bit "wooden" from him but I have to say he totally "trounced" Toby Stevens portrayal. It was Toby Stevens Mr. Rochester that made me go and buy the book but just hunting on Amazon I saw this dvd version and HAD to have it! So far i've watched it twice and can't wait to watch it again.

whilst he is a wee bit too good looking for Mr. Rochester you soon forget that as you get sucked into what you are watching. Don't know if Mr. Dalton won any awards for this series but i'm totally hooked. He is so very very good - it then makes you sad to realise that this is 23 years old. A great way to unwind and forget all your troubles. I very highly recommend it!

5.0 out of 5 stars jane eyre hardback unabridged collector's edition, 21 April 2009
this is my 3rd Collector's Edition book i have and i want MORE! from the dustcover which hides the lovely red velvety feel of the book to the gold edged pages with permanent ribboned marker. What a treat! I agree not so good for eyes that can't see properly as the book is rather small but i'd recommend a big magnifying glass to go with it! the book reminds me (as obviously do their stories) of times gone by when books WERE books. Just love everything about this. originally had the penguin version (paperback) but just wanted something a big smarter! Every year i have to read Pride & Prejudice (collector's library, naturally) just in case Mr. Darcy and Elizabeth DON'T end up together. The books are just the right size to hold and i lurve 'em! as for Jane Eyre, probably one of my least favourite stories EVER - that was until the BBC did the version in 2006 and suddenly made Mr. Rochester "sexy"????!!!!!! had then to buy the book to see what HADN'T been put in the tv series, ended up reading it in 2 days and it made me cry at the end! what a lovely story. i've even bought of amazon the 1986 tv series with Timothy Dalton AMAZING!!! what an overly underrated actor he is, a bit too good looking for Mr. Rochester but a superb bit of acting (shame about james bond!) Can't praise this book highly enough!
