The Girl on the Cliff
The Girl on the Cliff
by Lucinda Riley
Edition: Paperback
Price: £5.99

5.0 out of 5 stars WOW, 16 April 2015
This review is from: The Girl on the Cliff (Paperback)
loved this book, this author doesn't hold back by killing major characters off and drawing you into the story, you almost feel like your there living it. Enjoyed the fact that it was 3 stories in one which knitted together for a perfect ending . At times the story can be predictable , but the author draws the conclusion out so far there's no way back, then ends it on a high. Give it a read you won't be disappointed.

never read this author before and read an article featuring her. So I thought I would read one of her books which happened to be this one, and I'm glad I did as it was a thoroughly enjoyable read, having just finished it I am looking for the next one, so I'm hoping it will be as good

3.0 out of 5 stars Confusing at times, 13 May 2014
This review is from: The Back Road (Paperback)
This is the second book of this author. Having read the first book I thought it was a great book and thoroughly enjoyed it, having read the negative comments of this book I read it with an open mind . Having now read it i must admit I kind of agree, but not enough to give it a 1 or 2 star. There is no doubt that this author is the queen of a good plot, and when reading it you don't know what's coming next, but this book dragged on and on , and should have been cut down by a third. Having said that I still thought it was an enjoyable read, and doesn't put me off reading her next book, just a few too many characters and too much going on at the same time , which made it confusing at times.

Close My Eyes
by Sophie McKenzie
Edition: Paperback
Price: £5.99

3.0 out of 5 stars Wow a bit far fetched, 17 April 2014
This review is from: Close My Eyes (Paperback)
This book took me 3 attempt to get into it , only preserved because I had nothing else to read. However the book then took on a whole new gendre and became a very exciting read, and I was thinking wow what happened, then the latter part of the book bacame a bit far fetched and unbelievable. All in all not a bad read but only three stars I'm afraid

. Good storyline and starts off with good intentions , it then becomes repetitive and far fetched and readers will begin to lose interest as it becomes more mundane
