Nothing Ever Happens in North Berwick: The Somali Pirate Adventure
Nothing Ever Happens in North Berwick: The Somali Pirate Adventure
Price: £1.99

5.0 out of 5 stars A must read book, 25 Jun. 2016
I absolutely loved this book and would recommend it to anyone looking for a funny, well written book, full of Scottish banter. The story follows a group of friends on their regular night out at their local. Their far fetched conversation about an adventure holiday, which grows arms and legs as quick as the drinks being served, is overheard and misinterpreted, leading to a hilarious, page turning story that will keep you guessing until the end. Read and enjoy. This is a book I would love to see being made into a film. Hope the author writes more. Well done Mr Brown.

1.0 out of 5 stars Far to long, 6 Jun. 2015

Usually a fan of l.a.witt, I was so disappointed in this book. It was so dragged out with far, far to much benign text. I was bored witless (excuse the pun) by this book. The plot could have been good but was watery and long. The book was stretched to within an inch of its life, would not recommend. Give it a miss.

I loved this book, it was such a great read. Abigail Roux has brought me hours of pleasure with the story of Ty and Zane and this was a fabulous, worthy finish. Well done Abigail, your hard work has been well worth it and very much appreciated.

Found this book Boring, boring, boring. Repetitive and dragged out. Don't recommend this at all, waste of money and reading time. The first 70% of the book is about the main characters build up to the getting together but it is badly written and so boring I skipped a lot of pages. Don't waste your money or time on this.

Boring and predictable, not in the least bit exciting or interesting. The love scenes were so dull with no passion whatsoever. Would not recommend this book.

I absolutely loved reading this book. It was a heartwarming, heartbreaking, truly lovely love story that broke my heart. You could feel the love these two men felt for each other and Kindle Alexander developed it beautifully as the characters went through their lives together. This was definitely a much more mature, more well rounded book from Kindle Alexander and I am so glad I took the time to read it. I really felt the personalities of the characters and warmed to them quickly. Would recommend this book.

Didn't enjoy this book at all! Weak characters, weak story, weak sex scenes. Struggled to get through this book and sorry I paid good money for it. Would recommend Abagail Roux's Cut and Run series, absolutely brilliant, or read the Backup Boyfriend by River Jaymes, these books give a great m/m story with fabulous writing, fantastic characters and will leave you wanting to read them over and over. Don't waste you money on Takeover, there is so much better out there. Read Josh Lanyon, a fabulous, clever, humorous writer or Cameron Dane, great story teller.

Found this book really boring and drawn out. Read a lot of m/m books but this one was just dragged to death. The main characters were shallow and boring. The sex scenes seemed,to me, to be a mishmash of gay scenes from other books, badly put together and unbelievable. I'm sorry I bought it, could have spent my money on something so much better. Don't waste your money on this.
