5.0 out of 5 stars the best metal album for years, 8 April 2003
This review is from: The Art Of Balance (Audio CD)
Shadows fall are an awesome band. the effortlessly mix hardcore, metal, thrash and death metal all into an explosive mix that has real power, groove and integrity.
one band that comes close to shadowsfall are the mighty Killswitch engage.
this Cd is a must for anyone who enjoys hard, powerful metal. for fans of killswitch engage, pantera, sepultura, machinehead etc......
buy this, i cant stop listening to it.

4.0 out of 5 stars dark and psychologically charged third offering, 26 Aug. 2002
This review is from: Revolting Room (Audio CD)
Bay area heavy weights return with a dark and meaty third album that pounds with guitars and wrenchs your psyche with twisted screams, recorded by fans on a special phone line that the band set up. This album is more consistant and more mature than other releases and is a great listen.

2.0 out of 5 stars poor attempt by fame chasers, 6 April 2002
This review is from: Wrong Day Ep (Audio CD)
the kennedy soudtrack are a new welsh band. the music is linkin park / limp bizkit style with nods towards older groups like senser. it has no real originality or depth, especially the typical whiney lyrics. This will be enjoyed by people that got into rock/ metal on pop stuff like linkin park or papa roach, that would not appriciate that this is all quite derivative. maybe next time.

This review is from: To Mega Therion (Audio CD)
just got this album based on modern bands , such asanthrax sepultura ect stating then as influences. this is great and you can really hear where a lot of new bands such as seputura and slayer were inspired. very goo and classic.

ok tracks;
one minute silence, pulkas, medulla nocte, iron monkey, breed 77 , earthtone9, rachel stamp and more.
this is a great snapshot of the UK metal scene about 2 years ago very good, the price is worth it for exculsive one minute silence and cortizone ( when they were called KAne) tracks. you'll be surprised by the quality of the bands. very good, styles ranging from grindcore to nu metal and alternative. i really enjoyed this cd.

cynical smile were a bit early for the nu metal exposion, pre dating it by a few years. a sound similar to RATM and a nu metal/harcore edge, Cynical smile are a solid band and have good sound. if u like nu metal or want a fun RATM. this is for you.

5.0 out of 5 stars fantastic rock action from ginger an co., 4 Oct. 2001
This review is from: SG5 (Audio CD)
hooray! hooray! An offical release for this gem of a cd! this album encapsulates all the best things about rock and roll. The energy, the coolness and soul. This album is the sort of album you listen to before going out on the town. Class tracks such as 'brain sugar' , 'girls are better than boys' and 'supersonic shake' are sure fire hits.
imagine if you will, a band that have the best elements of the Wildhearts and cheap trick among others.
features, ginger ( wildhearts)
conny bloom ( electric boys)

This review is from: Burning Bridges (Audio CD)
arch enemy are a fantasic band featuring michael amott from carcass and spiritual beggers. this album has the best guitar lines of classic metal , like judas priest , and the power/ heaviness of carcass. very cool and very fulfilling listen.
