5.0 out of 5 stars Cheap squat rack, 20 Oct 2009
Ive been going the gym for years and have used a fair few squat racks. I took my time looking for one online and in stores that was the right size (and price!) for in our garage.

paid £125 for it and im really pleased. You will need a full 6 foot bar or it really wont fit on the rack properly. i tried to use an old 5' one i already had and it sucked as you couldnt tighten up the weights as the spindles stopped on the wrong side of the spotters.

its sturdy and doesnt rock even when you plonk the bar back down. Ive used 100kgs on it and it didnt protest at all.

the 2nd set of spotters can be used for bench pressing too

4.0 out of 5 stars Great little power toner, 20 Oct 2009
Used one of these in the gym a few years ago and it was fantastic! Now that they have come down in price thought i would have a look at getting one for at home.
Paid £125 for it, the one i had used in the gym was much much much more expensive.

So whats good?
really easy to use
good range of power and times
decent guide containing pics of how to do different excercises
it does what its meant too. used it to recover from an injury and to tone my muscles. Even the sister in laws borrowed it now shes trying to get back in shape after her 2nd kid.
Easy to assemble

Whats bad?
Many of the excercises mean you are lying or sitting on the machine or floor. when your down there you cant press the buttons to turn it on. you can either sit up an hit the buttons then get into position fast or set it for a longer time (ie 60 seconds instead of 30) and take your time getting into position (while its vibrating away)
You need to put a towel down on it if you want to do the plank or the little pointy bits that act as a foot grip really dig into your arms.

Over all:
I'm pleased i bought it and im happy with what i got for my money. If it came with a remote i would have given it 5 stars. just make sure you warm up AND STRETCH before you use it or you might hurt yourself. it is fairly powerful and having used it without warming up i wouldnt recommend doing it again

5.0 out of 5 stars easy to build sturdy bench, 20 Oct 2009
This review is from: York Fitness Bench (Sports)
Been going the gym for years so knew what i wanted for in the garage at home. Looked at many different benches in shops and on line and ended up buying this one which im really pleased with.
It was simple to assemble, looks nice and is sturdy with none of the dredded wobble that comes with other cheap benches.

It can be adjusted for incline, decline or left horizontal.

its easy to move and will stand upright on one end if you need to shove it in a corner. one of the back wheels is a little stif but tbh i just lift it out the way rather than dragging it anyway

would recommend to a friend
