An unusual feel to this track that makes it a good listen. I recommend this to anyone - I think it has been featured in numerous films.

For the cheap price you pay for this it is fine for testing batteries to see if they are spent or not. Wish I had bought one ages ago.

Fitted the cybershot screen size fine. Easy to apply and does what it is designed to do. Obviously not glass quality but it was reasonably priced.

This one gets inside your head and is a bit of a one-off track. Subject matter is refreshingly different from the usual love songs.

5.0 out of 5 stars An excellant Compact Camera, 14 Jun 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Fits into my hand nicely and feels well made/slightly on the heavy side. I bought this for the sweep panorama function which didn't disappoint. Pictures are very good with good contrast, colour and sharpness. The zoom range from wide angle to 500mm (20x) extreme telephoto is superb. The lens doesn't protrude too far out when using it for extreme telephoto shots. The camera has an automatic anti-shake system which can't be turned off which works well for extreme telephoto shots (one shot of a distant deer that I took looked a lttle false but that is better than a blurred shot!).

As with all modern Japanese designed cameras, there are lots of different modes to play with which can be too much for novice snappers. However, you can choose a simple option if you want to restrict the range of available options.

The handbook is minimal and doesn't give meaningful advice on how to use the various functions. The camera has information on it's use built in but I didn't find this very enlightening either. This is agreat pity. If Sony want to give you so many useful functions they should at least give you meaningful information to enable you to use them.

Unlike my slr camera, there is a delay after taking a shot before you can take the next one when in normal shooting mode which is frustrating. The little flash tended to pop up automatically even in good light which was annoying so I need to work out how to turn it off. I can live with the position of the pop up flash which is awkward.

The camera has a 3D mode (wow) but you need to connect to a 3D telly to view the results.

At some stage I will play with the defocuss background function, the function that lets you give your shots a toy feel and the texture addition function. All good stuff!

The camera seized up on one occasion because I had done something wrong so I took the battery out and put it in again and it worked fine.

The camera can be set on an extended HDR setting to take two shots in one - to give detail in both the highlight areas and the shadows which is great (it is very easy with cameras to take a single landscape shot and find the white clouds are burnt out). I need to try and find out which buttons to press to get this useful function working (this is where a proper manual would have helped).

You charge the battery whilst it is in situ in the camera using a cable connected to the mains or via your PC (no battery charger provided).

Pity the camera doesn't take RAW shots to give extra flexibility for landscape shots.

I know I have niggled a bit, but on the whole this is super little camera to carry around with you and is well suited to travel/people shots. Well done Sony!

For a high end compact camera I thought it was extremely good value - I ended paying Amazon £150 (£180 less £30 discount?) which is good considering the technology available in the camera. It has a built in GPS system which no doubt will be a useful function to some.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good value and does what it is designed to do., 14 Jun 2013

I bought this for my new Sony Cyber-shot DSC-HX20V compact camera. The camera fits nicely into the case. The case has a hard body which should protect the camera inside if the case is dropped or knocked. The case has a belt loop which is ideal for carrying the camera around with you on your belt. The zipper goes around most of the case so you have to be careful not to unzip fully when on your belt otherwise the camera could drop out. A very good price and does what it is designed to do.
