5.0 out of 5 stars Outstanding, 14 Feb. 2012
This review is from: Young Man In America (Audio CD)
I found out about Anais Mitchell through Justin Vernon from Bon Iver, when he tweeted about her: "coming down" is a song on @anaismitchell 's record 'young man in america' coming out this spring... and it is a truly masterful song." And: he is right. Even better. Its a breathtaking album. My favorite album of the year so far. Bought it yesterday and i have to say: This is the best piece of music for a long time. 10/10.

5.0 out of 5 stars Cool and not bored at all!!!!!!!, 21 April 2011
This review is from: Love And Nature (Audio CD)
Love & Nature is my new favourite album! I'd never heard of this band until recently when I heard their song 'Gandhi' played on the radio a few times, and then I saw them by accident when they were playing with Sleigh Bells a few months ago - they were great. Bought the album and think it's fantastic. 'Take Me To The Mountains' should be a single, it's mental but brilliant! Love this band....more please!

5.0 out of 5 stars JUST WOW!!!!!!, 7 July 2008
So yes... this album. It's, like, AMAZING. A world is created, seemingly devoid of happiness when you look at the surface, but as you delve deeper, light appears in every song. Hope, ultimately is the album's message. A bleak picture may be created, but "Rest Now Weay Head! You Will Get Well Soon" seems to also look forward and realise that that bleak picture is not all there is to the world. The best Album of 2008 so far !!!
