Race to Death (DI Ian Peterson 2) (A DI Ian Peterson Mystery)
Race to Death (DI Ian Peterson 2) (A DI Ian Peterson Mystery)
by Leigh Russell
Edition: Paperback
Price: £7.99

5.0 out of 5 stars enjoyable, intriquing and leaves you wanting the next book in the series., 30 Sept. 2014
A review of the latest thriller by Leigh Russell .... Race to Death
This is the 2nd book featuring DI Ian Peterson, the authors other 6 books feature Geraldine Steel as the person who solves all the crimes.
Ian Peterson has recently moved from Kent up to the lovely city of York where he is thrown in the deep end with a series of murders that baffle him until some fine detective work solves the riddle of who committed the gruesome crimes, but wait for the twist at the end as with all good stories.
The plot is well thought out and the realistic storyline is thrilling from the first page till the end. What I enjoy about reading Leigh Russell’s thrillers is the shortness of the chapters that always wants you to carry on reading until late into the night.
Her research of the area around York is faultless and makes you want to visit the scene of her crimes written in her books. Maybe one day soon I too will walk through the picturesque city of York and bump into her as she does more research for her next book featuring Ian Peterson.
