2.0 out of 5 stars Not the best newspaper litter, 1 Jun. 2014
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
I decided to test this out alongside other newspaper based litters sold on Amazon. Have to say, this was the worst of the bunch. The pellets are smaller than the other brands and, consequently, it has the highest rate of tracking of the three I tried. It also seemed to get soggy quicker than the others making it less effective and worst value for money.

5.0 out of 5 stars Stimulates the imagination, 8 Nov. 2009
This review is from: The Pencil (Paperback)
This is an original book with a simple concept which appeals to children from 3-7. The storyline is sequential and appeals to children's sense of logic whilst being presented in a very amusing way. I found this book stimulated a lot of conversation with my children and encouraged them to use their imaginations. We have a version which is signed by Bruce Ingham in a style which is consistent with the story! An absolute delight!

5.0 out of 5 stars Very enjoyable for 4-6 year olds, 10 Sept. 2009
This review is from: Stone Age Boy (Paperback)
My 4yo son chose this book from the library recently and has thoroughly enjoyed it. It gives a wonderful insight from a child's perspective into how things would have been in the Stone Age. It doesn't beat about the bush - it makes it clear that stone age hunters killed animals both for their meat and their hides. The illustrations are very detailed but each element is explained. I always find children are interested in how other cultures live their lives and this book achieves something similar but from a historical perspective. Recommended!
