Classic oldy updated for touch screen. Fun to play again after so many years.
Great for kids young and old.
Got to the end without too much trouble.
Temple of BU required some repeats due to touch screen controls.
And I had forgot how to get out of chamber with RUNIC stone.

Only real niggle is no volume control for music --- somw sceens with dialogue the music drows out the words.

I think it was Robert Heinlein who said when you have written your hero into an impossible situation the best way to go is "With a bound he was free" And re-start your story from a new chapter. But I don't think you are allowed to use this trick every time your hero/heroine is in trouble.

3.0 out of 5 stars Ok But a bit repetitive, 26 Mar 2014

The idea is sound and the features are nice Collecting objects to form collections etc --- But this app is let down at the core Some objects are so well hidden -- they will never be found without using the tools Eye / Compass etc. Having to replay the same picture again and again to build up experience soon gets old . Especially when the number of objects is increased and the time limit is too tight.

Not finished all of the mammoth number of puzzles but so far - So good .
I use this as a handy break from serious programming efforts. The "Fix" of solving the puzzles gives me a quick lift .
The Puzzles are interesting you get a quick reward from revealing the picture .... And you get something to think about with the pithy quote that goes with the picture .

5.0 out of 5 stars Wandering Engineer - The series, 30 Aug 2013

Read this one -- Great - Went straight to the On-line store and Purchased the rest of the series .
Haven't seen the concept of a internal AI before ( And i have read a awful lot of Si-Fi .) Cannot wait till AI's reach the shops.
Writing / Editing / Continuity in the first book Left room for improvement . Some continuity issues but the Ideas keep me going --- In other books in the series the Editing/Continuity are much improved.

The pages have fallen out of my original cop y. So I purchased this one. There are a few scanning errors but it did not spoil the read. Simak is one of those authors whose output is consistently good; if you like this book, or any of his other works then you will probably enjoy everything in his catalogue.
