5.0 out of 5 stars You won't be dissapointed!, 30 May 2008
This review is from: Don't You Wanna Be Mine (Audio CD)
In all honesty, I think this is the best remix of an old skool classic that I've heard in a very long time. If you're fed up of newbies to the dance scene remixing and ruining the gems of the old skool, then you will feel some relief in listening to this quirky revival. The producer in this case has taken Denise Lopez's amazing vocals and knocked up a club banging electro house mix. The effect is a guaranteed swamping of any dancefloor or in a home listener's case, a definite increase in dB! It's most definitely got potential to be the theme tune for the summer and will no doubt be a permanent fixture for true dance music lovers.

5.0 out of 5 stars A Winning Combination., 30 May 2008
When you combine two of the most charismatic performers in all of jazz history on one album you know that you are on to a winner. This album did not disappoint. Ella's elegant, pristine and polished vocals contrast perfectly with the coarse, thick, rough edged vocals of Louis. I have recently come across an artist called Alison Burns on myspace whose music sounds very similar to that of Ella.

4.0 out of 5 stars DJ Disciple "Work It Out" Review, 30 May 2008
This review is from: Work It Out (Audio CD)
`Work It Out' is the debut single from the UK's hottest new label House Trained (Universal). It's blowing up everywhere from Miami to the UK - and you're likely to hear it if you hit Ibiza this summer. Dawn Tallman does a superb job on the vocals and the production is definitely top notch with the Mischa Daniels mix cutting it for me. The video is reminiscent of Eric Prydz's `Call on Me', so expect a parental advisory message to be attached!

5.0 out of 5 stars Jones' got the songs, 21 May 2008
This review is from: Not Too Late (Audio CD)
Norah jones album `Not too late' was her last album before filming `My Blueberry Nights'. Jones' voice on `Not my friend' comes across crisp and floorless and reminds me of a similar vocal sang by jazz singer Alison Burns.
