5.0 out of 5 stars First class!, 30 Dec. 2014
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Absolutely brilliant. Covers the show as well as the time in which the show is set. Beautifully laid out. Lovely conversation piece, too. Offers a lot of information but easy to read and follow, should you so desire. 5 stars.

4.0 out of 5 stars Absolutely lovely, 20 Nov. 2011
This book is a gorgeous snapshot of life as it was in Saltburn over the last 100 years. Tonnes of pictures to look at and admire. Enough detail and information. If you know the area, this book is a gem and if you don't, you won't be disappointed.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent Bronte Book, 1 April 2009
This review is from: The Brontes at Haworth (Hardcover)
This is the book for you if you know a little about the family and want to know more, rather than a book for anyone looking for deep insight or analysis. That said, it is an excellent book. Easy to read, good chapters on the individual family members and their works. Also includes info about the area and the influence of the Brontes. A great addition for any Bronte fan.

4.0 out of 5 stars At last - something on Brontes' poetry, 1 April 2009
This is a clear, logical analysis of selected poems by the Brontes. It is the kind of thing I have been looking for for a long time, there is tonnes on the novels and very little non-academic (easy to understand!) work on the poems. A good intro to the poems.
