5.0 out of 5 stars Very pleased, 29 Mar 2014

The product was just as described. As noted elsewhere you have to have the lid open to charge it, but this is a very minor point in my view. It seems to fit the Galaxy Tab very well (I previously purchased a competitor's product which didn't). The free stylus is a nice addition. For the price you can't go far wrong, especially given the excellent Amazon returns policy.

I ordered these with some trepidation, not being sure that they would fit my Sonicare toothbrush, but they were fine. The price being charged for the branded version of this product is enough to make anybody want to find a cheaper alternative!

4.0 out of 5 stars Useful, but not luxurious, 31 Oct 2012
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
I purchased this cushion for a computer chair that had become more uncomfortable over the years, especially at the base of my spine, but which was still structurally sound.

The cushion isn't that thick (probably about 1") but it is surprisingly springy and does the job adequately, thereby saving me the cost of a new chair. Otherwise its dimensions are sufficient, and there is no element of discomfort at the edges which another reviewer commented on?

The fact that the underside is non-slip is a real boon, prior to purchasing this item I had been sitting on an ordinary household cushion and constantly having to reposition it.

It seems a well-made product.

5.0 out of 5 stars Overwhelming - powerful and emotional, 3 April 2012

Not since Radiohead released The Bends have I been so completely enthralled by an album. I've been a fan of this band's music for a while now, and the production here does them justice.

I can't recommend highly enough taking the time to sit down and read the lyrics in conjunction with the music - the two combine to put this band on a different level, even to the excellent Mumford & Sons to whom they are (strangely in my eyes) compared from time to time.

If there is any justice in this world (which all of us music fans know there often isn't!) Dry The River are going to be huge.

4.0 out of 5 stars Buy the Deluxe version!, 2 Aug 2011
This review is from: England Keep My Bones (Audio CD)
I personally find Frank's latest album a little uneven, and am mystified why he keeps releasing the weaker tracks from it as singles ("Peggy Sings The Blues", "If I Ever Stray") when songs like "I Am Disappeared" and "Redemption" are instant classics.

However, anybody considering buying this album MUST buy the Deluxe version, which has three simply amazing bonus tracks. "Song For Eva Mae" and "Balthazar, Impresario" are as good as anything Frank (or anyone else for that matter) has ever written.

3.0 out of 5 stars Shockingly poor design, 30 Dec 2010
= Durability:3.0 out of 5 stars  = Fun:3.0 out of 5 stars  = Educational:4.0 out of 5 stars
This review is from: Mastermind (Toy)
Mastermind is one of those games that is both simple to learn but mentally challenging to play, encouraging youngsters in particular to develop the power of reasoning.

The design of this version is terrible though.

Firstly the colours of the pegs are not sufficiently distinctive, especially if played in low light. The pink and the orange pegs are particularly hard to differentiate between - why didn't they persist with black pegs as one of the options, it would have been so much simpler?

Worse still is the design of the codemakers unit. Firstly there is no way to 'lock' the code after it has been chosen using the dials...therefore if the unit is moved in any way there is a strong chance the code will be inadvertently changed. Secondly the difficulty in differentiating between colours is even more pronounced as the colours themselves are recessed in the unit. It is very hard to differentiate between the silver and the green, and the orange and the pink if used in dim light.

These points seem like simple common sense, I cannot understand why they are not obvious to the manufacturers.
