5.0 out of 5 stars RPG of the year so far, 30 May 2011
= Fun:5.0 out of 5 stars
Word to the wise, there are tecnical issues. I had this game installed in my computer without been able to play it until the first official patch and some graphic downsizng allowed me to play it. PC gamer now this ny heart, sometimes you get lucky and many other times you suffer to enyoy the game you bought.
This said kudos to the people of CD Projekt for being upfront from the start and trying to help everyone, with patience to wait, to enyoy their game.

And what a game it is. A true sequel, better than the original in everyway I can think off. If you liked the first prepare to be blow away by the new one. To everyone else give this game a hinest chance or stop complaining about dumbed down / repetitive / kid friendly games only.
The Witcher 2 is a charming, preposterously difficult, really beautiful, and engrossing adult RPG.
CD Projekt stated that all DLC will be free and there is plenty of it already.

So what are you waiting for? Get this great game.
Even the The prime minister of Poland offer one copy to Obama.

I'm getting a system upgrade to play this gem the way is ment to.

2.0 out of 5 stars Number 7, 7 Jun. 2010
This is book seven of this ongoing series and again to my displeasure is another slimfast/bare bones kind of book.
What is the issue with the 400 pages?.
I think more pages would have helped make this book better or less and bigger chapter if you must. Heres is a thought have Tom Wards just be captured and rescued two times instead of five in the same book.
Things just happen one after another so fast that they leave little if any impact and I got no feeling for the caracthers or their troubles.
There is an war, a new location and a new monster, but I find that the autor doesn't make a real effort to make any of this elements interesting or stand out for what be have seen before in the series.
This feels like a sketch and not the finished book.
It is harmless fun for sure but like the caracther of John Gregory this series is giving me plently of reasons to worry about it's future.

5.0 out of 5 stars Don't be afraid to like it!!, 4 Jun. 2008
This is fast becoming my guilty pleasure. It's tagged as a children series but older readers have a lot to like in this collection.
It's a quick read for experienced readers but that doesn't mean it doesn't have meat on it's bones. Quite the contrary. Each book is just a episode of a big story that is getting more darker and exciting by the minute.
My only complaint is having finish it in two night I now have to face another year wait for the next book.
Hope there are still many more to come.
