5.0 out of 5 stars PIkmin is Great, 4 April 2005
Pikmin starts off with a very very mildly entertaing video (does it really matter)where Olimar, the main character, crash lands on an unknown planet after his ship is hit by a meteorite. When he gets out of the ship he discovers an onion shaped craft which of course is full of Pikmin, little carrot shaped half plant, half animal creatures. Throughout the game you must guide Olimar and his army of Pikmin through the dangerous, predator inhabited world to find the missing pieces of Olimars spacecraft. On te way you are confronted with what look to be harmless herbivores. Not so. They eat Pikmin for fun. You must also figure out how to get past certain obstacles such as walls, which the Pikmin can knock down. You also get three different types of Pikmin. Red, which do not get affected by fire, blue, which can enter water and yellow which can carry bombs.
If you are interested in games which are cartoony, quite fun and utterly bonkers then I would certainately reccomend this game to you. If not well i would still reccomend it as this is probabaly one of the best games ever.
