Very poor film not what I expected. It was boring and had no real meaning. Could have been so much better.

Very informative and well researched book. As I live in Somerset I could relate to the place names and had often wondered about the history relating to "dead womans ditch" up on ther Quantocks. Now I know.

5.0 out of 5 stars The Final Journey, 27 April 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This book covers how various how in previous times and the present civilisation has dealt with burial and death. I knew nothing about the catacombes beneath the Vatican and found this part the most interesting. A great read to help us prepare for our inevitable end and the end of others close to us.

Despite some of the reviews I really enjoyed this film. Great actors and an accurate recreation of Brighton in the 60s. Lots of Scooters not enough motorcycles.

1.0 out of 5 stars Really Disapointing, 6 Oct. 2011
I have to say I have only read half the book and just can not get any ennthusiam to finish it. I thought it was a travel book, I have driven around Australia in 1970 and was reallly looking forward to reviving some memories. The book is more about the Authors, of which which I have no interest in, rather than the trip.

1.0 out of 5 stars All a bit Boring, 14 Nov. 2009
I bought his book because of the title and made the assumption it would be an interesting read. If you are a petrol head you will find no interest in this book. The book is more about the authors sexual exploits if that interests you then you may not be disapointed

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent, 19 Aug. 2009
This book gives a real insight into the conditions miners and their families had to endure in Somerset. The walks within the books have excellent directions and many features on the walks would be missed without this guide
