5.0 out of 5 stars Great ideas for the newly single older person, 4 July 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
I have given several of this book to older people who have sadly become newly single
and in many cases have had to start cooking for themselves in many years.
The recipes are all easy to follow and set people on to the path of learning to enjoy
cooking and be a little adventurous with only three ingredients.

3.0 out of 5 stars Nothing I haven't read before..., 4 July 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This book has nice pictures, reasonably easy to follow...but nothing really jumped off the pages
and make me want to fire up the cooker and get cooking.

5.0 out of 5 stars Joseph Joseph, 4 July 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This item was a gift for my daughter-in-law who was over the moon with the set...for me the giver
they were well presented and looked be good, one thing I liked was the handles were a good size
to grip...especially if your older and suffer from creaking stiff finger joins.

I have myself the Joseph Joseph large Chopping board which I use constantly and have no problemin recommending them to anyone.

5.0 out of 5 stars World's End or the End of the World?, 3 July 2013
This review is from: WORLD'S END (Kindle Edition)
When writer, Stephen Hooper, literally and metaphorically paints himself into a corner his life turns into a Lewis Carroll universe of mathematical unpredictability with odd-ball characters shouting from the side-lines. Waiting for the paint to dry his mind gives way to a splintered mosaic of memories on life, death, sex and art and 'the Jesuit prison up North' that dare not speak its name. This is a laugh-out loud book that can suddenly turn to pathos and serious ponderings on the world that surrounds us. The choice is yours. World's End is down the King's Road, a pub in Oxford or Armageddon.
