1.0 out of 5 stars awful awful game, 13 Oct 2012
= Fun:1.0 out of 5 stars
This review is from: FIFA 13 (PS3) (Video Game)
The worst fifa ever.Passing is awful, first touches are ridiculous the last ten minutes of the game every team turns into Barcelona, 50/50 are more like 10/90 bias towards the console.Sadly unplayabl,e after such a great fifa 12 I was certainly expecting a better game. When they take a goal kick my left back goes into my corner playing everyone on side, defenders don,t react and watch the other players go by.The linesman was running through the middle of the pitch and to top it all up the game has crashed on me 4 times in three days. Unless they do an update to fix this mess I refuse to play this game. I am writing this a couple of days after my initial review and my brother who still plays this game is not able to play because the latest bug to hit this game is an invicible ball. The match starts and the ball can not be seen and he has restarted the game numerous time but still he gets the problem.Come on EA fix this game.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent TV, 4 Nov 2011
I purchased this tv to replace my pioneer kuro hd ready tv and have to say i am very impressed by it. Although black levels are not on par with the pioneer the samsung has pretty good black levels too. The tv comes with a huge host of internet extras and offers excellent picture quality once calbrated (search online you'll find plenty of sites dedicted to this) 3d picture is incredible too. I personally prefer plasma tvs to leds tvs although you have to consider what and where you are going to use it before deciding which one to buy. Plasmas require a little bit more care than leds (image burn) but this is not really a big issue nowadays. Considering most tv review sites and magazines ussually have a plasma tv as the number one tv every year it amazes me to see leds out selling plasma tvs considering leds are much more expensive too. Overall I would recommend this tv to anyone as the package of quality and price are unbeatable.

3.0 out of 5 stars Could be better, 16 July 2011
I own an iPad and my children are constantly nicking it so I had to buy another tablet but did not want an iPad as flash is not supported and as most know a lot of the web utilises flash. I bought a playbook for two reasons 1 flash 2 it's convenient size. Its lighting quick and quite user friendly once you play around with it. Cameras are ok and so is multitasking but the playbook is so limited by blackberry. No email client, operating system which is hardly supported by anyone, and many of it's main feature require you also have a blackberry smartphone, you can even argue that it's as controlled as apple iPad/iPhone.I am not obsessed with aps I occasionally use them but the playbook is simply a desert compared to apple and even android. I took mine back within a couple of days and replaced it with an eee pad which after a week I have to say is on par with the iPad and in some respects even better. The play book is quite good but unfortunately there's not much I could do with it as it did not meet my needs.

3.0 out of 5 stars Nothing special, 19 Aug 2006
I have had this book for a few years but have not been able to read it till recently. The story is quite interesting and astonishing (especially as it is a true story) but the writing is somewhat repetetive - I think this is done to make the story longer - and the Firefighter seems to be too full of himself always going on how great he is and how well he did what a good leader he is ...... and so on.Entertaining and interesting but the way the story is written spoils it.

5.0 out of 5 stars great voice - great music, 9 Mar 2006
This review is from: Open the Door (Audio CD)
Ive read some of the reviews here and i have to say i dont agree with most of them.I love Supertramp and have to say that this is the nearest either Roger (Solo) or Rick (with Supertramp) have come to reliving past glories. Some of the songs here are very similar to what Roger did before and remind me of early Supertramp.

4.0 out of 5 stars Something Is Missing, 5 Sep 2005
This review is from: Believe (Audio CD)
Let me start by telling you that i would actually give this cd a rating of 3 1/2 Stars but this is not available. The music on Believe is quite good, you have Nick Barrets incredible guitar playing (Reminiscent of David Gilmour At times) his adequate vocals and the backing of his band to an extend. Why to an extend, well Clive Nolans Exellent Keyboard playing is missing or very limited on this cd.On previous records Nolan has had plenty of solos and Pendragons instrumental parts have been littered with both Barrets Guitar playing and Nolans expert backing and soloing.
Could this be because Nolan has not been as available as on previous occasions because of his many other commitments or because Barret decided it I do not know ,but in my opinion their music suffers somewhat because of this.Another thing missing are the catchy melodical parts they had in other songs (Masters Of Illusions an example)and in some cases some songs become too slow with Barret speaking instead of singing.
It reminds me a little Of Pink Floyds Final Cut which sounded more like a Roger Waters solo effort than a Pink Floyd record with Gilmour appearing here and there but having very little input.
To summarise:- Quite a good cd but in my opinion not as good as his previous work, although still worth purchasing it.
