5.0 out of 5 stars still very moving, 6 July 2012
This review is from: Cathy Come Home [DVD] [1966] (DVD)
I remember i saw this movie when i was about 15 or so, and i couldn`t remember every detail, but it made a great impression om me.
Yesterday i watched it again and i was still very moved by it. It`s so heartbreaking.
This kind of movie stays with you forever. Very good acting too!

Would it be possible to give more information about the episodes on the various Vol. of Taggart?

4.0 out of 5 stars Rather dated on the fashion side, but still wonderful stories!, 31 Aug 2010
These old Taggart`s are still great to watch.Nice long episodes.
Nowadays they stuff the story in 50 min.everything has to be fast, fast.
And it has its charm to watch the dated fashion.
Jacky Reid has had a total metamorphosis. She has been playing this role for about 24 years.
So, I`m enjoying these dvd`s very much!

The Secret of Lost Things
The Secret of Lost Things
by Sheridan Hay
Edition: Paperback

5.0 out of 5 stars Most entertaining!, 13 Feb 2010
If you love old bookshops, all kinds of intrigues,a secret about an old manuscript, and odd staff members,
such as: Walter Geist an almost blind Albino and Pearl a transsexual, the Arcade bookshop in New York is the place
to be.
While Rosemary,a young girl from Tasmania assists Walter Geist with reading old letters etc.,
Walter has his own agenda concerning Rosemary.
I think this is the most entertaing book i`ve read for some time.
Just lovely!
I can really recommend this book.
