5.0 out of 5 stars Very well written and atmospheric adventures., 31 Jan. 2013

The One Ring RPG is a game that has really captured the Tolkien feel. There included adventure in the main Slipcase set is pretty good, but really short. These adventures are much longer than that one, and really have a nice variety and great atmosphere. There is plenty of relevant information, but not so much that it feels burdensome to try to include it all. There are guidelines for how to resolve both success and failure in interesting ways, and a good mix of difficult encounters with softer ones.

The book is full color, and the illustrations inside continue with the high quality aesthetics of the core set and LM screen.

***As a note, the bindings on this are much higher quality than on some of the other books. It has held up very well.

5.0 out of 5 stars High quality screen, 31 Jan. 2013

This screen has excellent build quality. It is 4 Panels, long side up, so it does block a lot of real estate. The information on the DM's side is overall very useful, easy to read, and up to date. The full color character art on the front looks great. Big fan of Wayne Reynolds' work. It is glossy, so there can be some glare issues, but not too bad.

5.0 out of 5 stars AAARGH, those years I wasted on Mach 3's!, 31 Jan. 2013
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
I was always curious about straight razor shaving for a long time, but the expense was intimidating. On a lark, I did some research on wet shaving, and found out about DE/Safety Razors. The Merkur brand was pretty common, and the price was right. I paired this up with Tabac shave soap, Feather razor blades, and a badger hair brush, and WOW!.

The shave I get is so much smoother, and the irritation is almost non existant. I do not need a balm anymore. I can just rinse off with cold water, throw on a little witch hazel, and I am good to go. I even noticed that my skin on my neck has cleared up, no bumps or pimples that used to form from shaving.

All this, and because of the inexpense of razor blades and shave soap vs. the cartridges and foam, I am saving probably over a $100 a year easily. This razor paid for itself in a just a few months, and now it is all profit!

Escali 100% Pure Badger Shaving Brush
Escali 100% Pure Badger Shaving Brush

4.0 out of 5 stars Excellent starter brush, did shed a little., 19 Feb. 2012
I just got this brush a few days ago, and have only haved three times with it. It was instantly obvious that it would be a better brush than the boar bristle brushes I was used to. It is far softer, and holds dramatically more moisture. Also, it has a much more mild smell than the boar bristle brushes did.

It did shed a lot of bristles on the first two times I used it, but significantly less this morning. So far it seems to be well worth the investment.
