5.0 out of 5 stars Tough little speaker with long lasting battery, 5 May 2015
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
Bought this speaker to replace a larger logitec one which was bulky to carry. The connection is strong and using an iPod touch can get twenty metres away without losing the signal. Souns is ok not a big warm souns as the pair of speakers in the unit are light weight. This is used to provide backing tracks in a classroom for singing and flutes and does the job. Does not have the sound quality, power or base of the logitec boom box however it is four times smaller and is very light to carry also uses a standard micro USB to charge. The charge gives it about six to eight ours of playback however it does start to lose quality of sound as the battery gets low. Altogether for price this is a fabulous little speaker and has proved to be very sturdy. The Betron has been knocked off table several times falling onto a hard floor and it has not got even a scratch on it yet. So if you are thinking about buying it just do it, you will not regret the purchase.

1.0 out of 5 stars NOTHING LIKE A NANO!!, 7 Nov. 2012
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
I ordered one of these looking at the fantastic specification however returned it as per the sellers guide.
The Good Bits...
The player looks a bit like an older iPod nano and to some extent has similar functionality it is a bit wider and the dock adapter works for charging (music can be played as well if you fiddle around but this comes with a degree of hiss and general background noise). The device is seen as a removable drive when plugged into a PC but do not try to use iTunes copy music across as it does not copy any artwork over and also does not copy the artist/album details. Best to drag the folders with an album cover in the folder using explorer. The little case and accessories are a bonus and a child would be made up with them.

The bad points...
The scroll wheel is unresponsive - most of the time not working at all and then jumping about 10 steps - inevitably going past what you wanted to listen to or the miss function you wanted, this drives you crazy... When you do get to the song you want do not expect it to sound good, what a shame, but it was nothing like using a nano and there was no other way to navigate round the functions.
Very very poor sound quality - I used several sets of headphones/ear buds to test and listen including some decent Skullcandy and Sennheiser. None made much difference to the sound, unlike using them on many other devices where the headphones make all the difference. Little bass and sound was dull mainly a mix of mid range. No EQ either to change the sound.
Summary
I wanted a cheap mp3 player for the gym - however the poor sound quality and very annoying touch wheel left me very disappointed and it was returned for a partial refund (minus £4 for the postage - the original stamps came to less than £1.50).
So if you want an mp3 player to navigate to songs and then listen to music then I suggest a different one!!

LG CCL-250 Original Case
LG CCL-250 Original Case

3.0 out of 5 stars Good effort but could do better..., 3 Mar. 2010
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
This is a nice case for the Renoir, the leather is hard to distinguish between leather and plastic as the black coating is so thick. The phone itself clips into a plastic holder with holes on the back for the camera lens, flash and the infrared focus light.
The case has a flip front which flaps over the front of the phone. There is no clip on this flip and so it does open/flap by itself.
The case does give the phone an "executive" look and is not as bulky as many other "all leather" cases such as the P-Dair (which do not have cutaway holes in the back). Overall a good effort just could have put a clip, ideally magnetic on the front flap then it would be perfect.
My phone remains in the case just about all the time, no extra bulk in pocket, and I would recommend it for this reason.

LUPO Apple Ipod Touch (2G & 3G) Screen Protector
LUPO Apple Ipod Touch (2G & 3G) Screen Protector

5.0 out of 5 stars Just the Job, 4 Jun. 2009
Verified Purchase(What is this?)
I received may pack of two of these "professional" protectors for a new ipod touch, the price was very good and I was expecting a cheap and nasty product!! This was not the case...

The fit was perfect. The item came with a lint free cloth so you can get rid of all - and I mean you need to get rid of all - dust from the screen prior to fitting. This item is not as adhesive as other screen protectors I needed to lift it once to get the alignment just right. This was fine not bending or stretching.

I got the alignment right and lowered the protector slowly into position getting rid of bubbles as it was slowly placed top to bottom on the ipod.

The result was perfection!! Not a bubble to mess with or hair/dust anywhere. The ipod functions perfectly and I really cannot tell that the screen protector is fitted. Remember patience and perfect cleaning are key to success with these items...Best of luck with yours.
