Hozelock Multi Spray Pro Gun
Hozelock Multi Spray Pro Gun
Price: £18.69

5.0 out of 5 stars Solid piece of kit, 5 Aug. 2011
We have had this spray gun for 3 years now and its still going strong. Varied pressure and spray types makes it perfect for our garden and we use it in the greenhouses, on the flowers and on our fruit and veg too. It is very well made and solid and will not break or go brittle like these cheap plastic guns do. Worth spending the money on you will be using this for years to come.

3.0 out of 5 stars A mixed bag, 3 Oct. 2010
= Fun:4.0 out of 5 stars
I personally am enjoying the game and whilst a lot of things from the previous are missing such as Religion, espionage and a reduced diplomacy system i also like some of the new things like city states, non unit stacking (god i hated that) and the tile expansion system around cities where you can buy tiles too. On the whole i would suggest they add some more stuff to it with patches and flesh it out a bit but its not an awful game by any means. You can build large empires if you are clever about your economy and lay the ground work for them early, key is not building stuff all over the place only build what you need. I got caught out by that as i used to build roads everywhere and buildings in Civ IV but the upkeep costs in this will punish your economy if you do this here just as they would in real life.

In closing its not perfect but theres room for improvement and mods etc... The whole dumbed down for console stuff doesnt wash with me, the complexity is there it just needs to be looked for. So anyway my 2ps worth is its decent enough so wait a few months and get it when it drops to half price if money is a factor but seriously its not as bad a game as some people are making out its just different.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good Budget gamers card, 16 Sept. 2010
This little gem plays most modern games with most stuff turned on in the settings and a pair of them would make a decent enough games PC for most people. Price is good and it runs cool and quiet. Not as powerful as the GTX series but then its nowhere near the price and made an ideal replacement card when my GF's 8800GS went bang! Good all rounder for the price though more hardcore gamers would likely want something like the GTX470 or higher.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great, 16 Sept. 2010
Powerful card, easy to install and runs far cooler than my old 8800 GTX which even with a Zalman cooler replacing the stock fan was so hot i could almost cook an egg on it! Long card so a big case is required but very easy to install and very powerful, makes mince meat out of all the latest games and doesnt even break a sweat. If you are looking for a powerful single card solution or even SLI this card will deliver, worth paying the small amount more for the ASUS branded card than buying the cheaper ones. Asus are rock solid and well worth the price and the Hyperdrive voltage tweaker and overclocking options will satisfy most serious gamers too.

3.0 out of 5 stars Not bad, 16 Sept. 2010
= Fun:3.0 out of 5 stars
Shaky start after beta ended but with updates and weekly episodes it is looking fairly good. Combat in space can be a bit repetative but theres plenty of fun to be had and there are now more missions and things to do being added. Not the best game but not the worst and has some problems, good space shooter/looter but hardcore Trekies likely wont approve.

Loved the original and these add ons are great too. General Knoxx available from their website is also great fun. Great little shooter which has a really good sense of humour not to mention style. Get this today and remember "If it's not a Jakobs i'd rather be dead!"

4.0 out of 5 stars Fun but Flawed, 20 Jun. 2010
= Fun:4.0 out of 5 stars
This review is from: Alpha Protocol (PC) (CD-ROM)
Nice idea and setting though sometimes misses the mark. I would have liked to see more destructable environments too but graphically the game is very detailed and impressive and compliaments the story nicely. I think the developers could have done certain things a little better and offered more skills to suit other play styles but on the whole i felt it was a reasonable attempt.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great Hack em Up, 20 Jun. 2010
= Fun:5.0 out of 5 stars
For fans of Diablo and the like this will be a fun a violence filled romp through a fantasy setting. Plenty of characters to play and the game has a good sense of humour too. Player mounts, a vast world and endless numbers of enemies to be destroyed. Good fun and the Gold edition just makes it even more fun for the price. Get this today and grab your axe and prepare to paint the town red!

4.0 out of 5 stars Gothic 4?, 6 Nov. 2009
= Fun:4.0 out of 5 stars
This review is from: Risen (PC DVD) (DVD-ROM)
For fans of the Gothic series this is a must have title. It builds on the success of the previous games and adds its own unique flavour to the proceedings. The story line is an interesting one centering around two very different groups fighting for power on a remote Island and its up to you as the would be hero (or villan) to choose who you side with via a series of quests. Graphically the world is lush and at times stunningly beautiful and whilst it's no oblivion it certainly is'nt a slouch when it comes to eye candy.

Pros
----

Nice story with plenty of gritty dialogue and language that doesnt pull any punches
If you liked Gothic series this ones a no brainer
A nice simple interface which doesnt overcrowd the screen with information
Nice craft system and various professions and skills to play with
The Drunken Hunter in the Don's camp made me wet myself laughing and there some are other funny moments too

Cons
----

No way to tell how tough a monster or opponent is before you fight it which is realisitc but for a game a bit annoying
The combat like Gothic III is a bit quirky though it doesnt quite reach the heights of silly that G3 did
Everyone looks the same (or ELTS) syndrone has sneaked into the game like it did in Oblivion. Minor gripe but too much reuse of same skins.

Summary
-------

In short this is an RPG title well worth your time and whilst its not perfect it is certainly worth you attention. Get it today it really is good.

5.0 out of 5 stars Best thing you will play till Diablo III, 29 Oct. 2009
= Fun:5.0 out of 5 stars
Ok so this isnt going to win any prizes for originality but lets face it even Diablo was basically Gauntlet with RPG mechanics and stats thrown in and that made it a world beater. This game is more of the same but lets be honest theres nothing wrong with wanting more looting, questing and killing hoardes of monsters.

Graphically stunning, music and sound is impressive and whilst the quests and story are not going to set the world on fire they are interesting enough to entertain and the steam punk magic and technology setting in a fantasy world makes it stand out. Nice classes including some more unusual ones and lots of places to explore and so much loot it would make a pirate happy. The game world is huge and there are over 600 quests, many monster types and lots of other nice touches to experience and find.

For the price of asking and with little hope of Diablo III being released anytime soon you could do far worse than get a copy of this little gem. Game improves massively the more people join to play with you and you can even do a 16 player co-op game for maximum mayhem! If you want some good old fashioned monster spanking, dungeon hacking, loot whoring fun this is the game to get!

Grab the expansion Ice and Blood and add it on for even more carnage.
