This book is scrumptuous to read. It dwells on all the wonderful things of each season and sews them into your life. It reminds you of the beauty and importance of poetry, the magic of going on summer time picnics, the importance of change and adaptation in autumn and the cleansed feeling of a new year ahead of us in January. You can smell the recepies that she writes about, feel the fresh linen on the bed and feel the glowing feeling after being out all day on the beach and then showering and enjoy the food of a barbecue. It really does pamper the senses and thoughts. Next time you take a deep breath in, forget work, bills and every day druge and remember the romance in the oridinary things

4.0 out of 5 stars Castle Enemies, 4 Aug. 2004
This is a great story, which is easy to read and follow. Primarily for a young person age group it is easily enjoyable by adults. It centers around a young girl who is recruited by a group of people known as the castle seven, who carry out a sort of 'relationship building' role with other castle communities. The Castle Seven each have their unique personality's and skills. The young girl is trained and then taken on her first mission to the nearby castle. Along the way she encounters wolves, mystery and intrege. I enjoyed this book as the descriptions of the landscape and characters were fun to imagine. An interesting concept and will look forward to more stories which include the other 37 castle communities.
