A: NO. All our deliveries are made Monday - Friday 8am - 6pm
Q: Can you get the courier to telephone me 30 minutes before he arrives?
A: NO. We send goods on national courier companies and a telephone in advance service is not available.
Q: I live in a block of flats and my intercom is broken. Can the driver call me from the road so i can come down to collect my parcel.
A: NO. Get your intercom fixed!
Q: I missed delivery and the couriers have left me a calling card. What should i do?
A: Telephone the number on the card within a day of getting the calling card. You will find the couriers very accommodating. They will arrange with you to get the parcel delivered on a day that suits you. They will only keep your goods for a maximum of 5 working days before the goods are sent back to our warehouse as a failed delivery. We get charged for this return so please do your best to make contact with them :-)
Q: I ordered something to my home address when i know that i am never there during the day to take delivery of it, should i have chosen a better delivery address for my goods?
A: YES! Having goods shipped to an address that you know has no one in to accept it will result in the parcel being driven around in a van on a sightseeing tour of your town. Our advice is to let us know as soon as possible if you have made an error in your address. We are more than happy to send your item to a work address, friends house, neighbour's house or try and work with you on a day you know you are going to be home.
Q: I need to return a product to you that i no longer require. What do i do?
A: Complete the Amazon returns request from within your Amazon buyer account and follow instructions that will arrive back with you.
Q: I tried to call your offices at 11.00am on Sunday and no one answered my call! Why did you not answer?

The Shopfitting Shop Delivery Rates
We offer two delivery services. Expedited Delivery and Standard Delivery.
Customers often ask us what is the difference and sometimes expect things we don't advertise or sell. To clear up any confusion between the two services we have pleasure in advising you on how they work.
This service is a 1-2 WORKING DAY delivery service. By working days we mean Monday - Friday. We do not include weekends and do not offer, advertise or charge anyone for guaranteed overnight delivery or weekend delivery services. The working day delivery service is calculated FROM the day we actually ship the item. Not to be confused with the day you order it. EXAMPLE: If you have ordered at 10am on a Wednesday then we are likely to get the order processed, picked and shipped the same day. 1-2 Working days from Wednesday would usually mean a delivery Thursday or Friday. If you ordered at 7.30pm on a Wednesday then clearly this is not going to be processed or packed until the following day thus resulting in your order leaving our warehouse on the Thursday. 1-2 Working days from Thursday means a delivery Friday or Monday. NOT, Friday or Saturday.
This service is a cheaper delivery method and is based on the basic Amazon time frames of 1-5 WORKING days. Choose this service if you are not in a major hurry for your order and can be flexible on the arrival day. If you know that you will be around the delivery address for 1-5 days from placing your order then pick this option. The same calculations for days of delivery are the same as above and this service is also only Monday - Friday.
Please remember that we are a MARKETPLACE seller. We are not Amazon! We sell on the Amazon platform like millions of other companies. We work hard to make sure your order is handled quickly and efficiently.
The price we charge for our deliveries is down to the product we send out. We do not sell small items that can fit through your letter box! All of our items are large, bulky boxes that require numerous manual handling so it is highly advisable to be at the address you have asked us to deliver to. If you are not in then the goods will travel back and forth between van and depot and ultimately result in complications.

We pride ourselves on using 3 main courier companies to deliver your goods. UKMAIL, DPD and UPS. All three companies have a proven track record of delivering products quickly and safely.
We try to despatch your orders as quickly as humanly possible! Our couriers try to deliver, as quickly as humanly possible. Our aim is to deliver your goods within 2 working days from the day we process your order. Please bare in mind that should you place an order after 3pm then†that order will be processed the very next working day by our team. You should recieve it within 2 days from this day. EXAMPLE. Order at 3pm on a Tuesday - Order Processed Wednesday - Delivery by Friday 6pm.
We have two delivery options. Standard and Expedited. The standard delivery means that your order will be processed within 24 hours, sent to our warehouse, picked, packed and shipped on a standard†3-5 day service. The Expedited service speeds the process up a little however do not choose expedited at 5pm on a monday and expect it delivered at 9am on the tuesday! This service does not work like that! Our expedited service simply means we send your order out on an overnight service FROM THE DAY WE SHIP IT - NOT TO BE CONFUSED WITH THE DAY YOU ORDER IT! We try to be as fast as possible.
During busy and peak times such as School Holidays and Christmas we like to offer the same exceptional service. These times of the year are very busy for online sellers and couriers. We ask that you are patient during these times. Your order will be delivered but it may take a day or two longer than normal. I'm sure most of you will fully understand. If you order during these busy times of year then please allow 7 working days for the goods to be delivered. Any longer and we fully expect you to ask us questions. However, we are very confident in our ability to handle your order during these busy times, afterall, we have 15 years experience in it!
Please check and inspect your goods within 48 hours of receiving your order irrespective of whether you intend to use it at that time. Damages and shortages must be reported at the earliest possible time to ensure smooth customer service. Damages or Shortages reported later than this makes it impossible for us to claim from our couriers. Common sense must prevail when ordering goods online. We do not entertain any claims for damages or shortages after 7 days from delivery.
We deliver Monday - Friday only between the hours of 8am and 6pm and to a place where the item can be signed for on delivery. Weekend deliveries are not available.
We like to advise all customers that having a product delivered to a house address when you are out all day at work is silly. The goods simply won't get delivered. They need to be sent to an address where you know someone can sign for the goods. Send it to your work address, a †friends house or organise it with your neighbours.

CLOTHES RAIL ASSEMBLY
Our clothes rails have a worldwide patent and have a unique design feature that makes them solid. We send out full colour assembly instructions with all our clothes rails and these can be found on the outside of the box along with your receipt. If the instructions are missing then please follow these very simple instructions.
BASIC RAIL CONSTRUCTION. FOLLOW THESE INSTRUCTIONS FOR ANY CLOTHES RAIL YOU HAVE BOUGHT FROM THE SHOPFITTING SHOP.
If you have bought a double hanging rail, follow these instructions and then continue at stage 9.
1. Connect your triangular wheel sections to the U-Shaped piece that runs along the bottom.
2. Attach the two side poles to the Triangle Wheel section.
3. The side poles will now splay outwards creating an illusion that the rail is faulty.
4. THIS IS PERFECTLY NORMAL AT THIS STAGE.
5. Add the top rail to one side only.
6. The top rail will hang short at the opposite end - TOTALLY NORMAL.
7. At the end that is short, simply place one hand on the top rail and one on the side upright. PULL the side upright inwards hard. It will move inwards and the top rail will slot into place.
8. You standard clothes rail will now be built and you find it to be extremely sturdy and rigid. You can attach the wheels at this point if you wish to use them.
9. For those customers who have bought a double hanging clothes rail. Congratulations. You have now built the standard shape rail and will now be familiar with the construction needed to add the final components of your set up.
10. Carefully take the top rail off. remember that it is under tension so care should be taken when removing the top rail.
11. Get the centre rail supplied and attach in the same manor as the top rail. At this stage you can just get the sides pulled in and adjust the position later. The tension will hold it in place for now.
12. If you have height extensions then you can slot those in at this point.
13. Add the top rail on at the very top. You will find this simply drops into place as the centre rail is pulling the rail into shape.
14. Once the top is finally on, you can adjust the centre pole to your desired height position.
15. Finger tighten the screws supplied and if need be, a few extra turns with a pair of pliers.

DRESSMAKERS DUMMY GUIDE
Here at The Shopfitting Shop we offer a range of dressmaking mannequins that are quick and easy to build. Assembly of the mannequins could not be easier and should be obvious to most. Below is a quick guide if you are having any difficulty.
The main wooden centre section is supplied with three legs. Simply remove the nuts, pop the legs through the holes and tighten the nuts up inside. You may be able to get them tight with your fingers however a 10mm spanner will make sure they are tightened correctly.
Place the chrome tube into the top of the centre section and add the bust on top.
You can then choose to use the top ball section or not.
It really is that simple :-)
