How can I pay for my order?
You can pay for your order using PayPal or credit card (please call customer services on 0845 611 8466 if paying by credit card).

Can I change my order once it has been placed?
Provided the product hasn't been despatched we will do everything possible to accommodate you.

Can I cancel my order once it has been placed?
If your order has not yet left our warehouse, you can cancel and receive a full refund.
If your order has already been despatched, you have the right to cancel your order and receive a full refund within 7 days of receipt, provided the goods are returned in their original condition.

Cancellation of Order - After item is Despatched, Refused Delivery or Items never collected
If a customer wishes to cancel/return their order and it falls under the following criteria
1) It has already been despatched.
2) They have refused delivery.
3) They failed to re organise or refused to collect item from their local Parcelforce or Royal Mail depot.
If an Item/Items is returned to us due to the above circumstances You will be charged the following carriage fees ( Even if the item was initially marked as free delivery †)
The Fee will be deducted from the total cost of your order when the item is returned and refunded
  • Parcelforce - £ 5.50 per item (ie Return of 4 x bags of compost would be £22.00)
  • Royal Mail - £3.95 per item

What happens if an item(s) is found to be out of stock after my order is placed?
We aim to display only items that are in stock, however, goods are subject to availability. There is always a small delay between the time the order is placed and the time the order is picked and allocated.†
If you order an item that becomes out of stock before we are able to allocate it, then we will email you within 24 hours of receipt of †the order and fully refunded you for the out of stock item.

What happens if I receive a faulty item?

Delivery FAQs

Where do you deliver to?
We currently only deliver to UK Mainland & British Isles.
Some heavy or oversized items may require additional postage charges. We will always inform you and await your approval prior to despatch.
Please note: We do not deliver to PO Box Addresses.

How long will standard delivery take?
We ship via Parcelforce 48 or Royal mail so delivery is normally between 2-3 working days
Your items are dispatched the next working day. Please allow 2 to 4 working days for your goods to arrive.
Deliveries are made between 7:00am and 5:30pm Monday to Friday.†

How long will express delivery take?
Express delivery is sent via Parcelforce 24 and it guarantees delivery within 2 working days.
Please Note - 99% of goods will arrive next day if the order is placed before 12 noon.

Please note that expedited (next day delivery) only operates Mon - Thursday. If the order is placed on Friday you will not receive your items till Monday

How will I know my order is on its way?†
You will receive notification via email confirming the despatch of your order

How do I track my order once you have dispatched?†
If you wish to track your order, please email us (enquiries@daggsonline.co.uk) and we will send you the link to parcelforce tracking, plus the parcels tracking number.
Please note if the item is send via royal mail, then we cannot provide tracking information. Any concerns regarding your delivery you can message us via Amazon, email or call us on 0845 611 8466.

Do I need to wait in for my parcel?†
Parcelforce deliver to an address, not a named individual. When no one is available to accept the item, they will try and deliver the parcel to a neighbour, or to a local Post Office branch, where it will be held for 16 days. A card will be left informing the recipient of the attempted delivery and where the parcel can be collected from. For buildings with multiple occupancy the complete address must contain business name or department details and telephone number to allow a delivery to be completed. Please ensure that the recipient's telephone number is included.

Returns FAQs
We hope all our customers are delighted with their orders. However, if you find this is not the case, you can return any item to us, in its original condition within 7 days of your receipt for a full refund or replacement. Refunds will be credited back via your original payment method. Any damage incurred in transit must be notified to our Customer Services team within 48 hours
Please ensure you contact us via Amazon, email or by 0845 611 8466 prior to returning any goods.

We do reserve the right to refuse to refund goods if they are not in their original condition.

Do I have to pay to return an item?
Customers are responsible for the cost of returning all items to us, unless the item arrived damaged, and was reported to our customer services team within 48 hours or the product is defective and reported within 7 working days.

    About Daggsonlinecouk

    At Daggsonline we are delighted to give a fresh approach to our traditional business.

    Daggs was founded in 1913 in Glasgow: a business dedicated to supplying a full range of garden products to both professional and amateur gardeners.

    In the early days, our salesmen would travel around Scotland by train visiting town councils and large estate gardens. They would collect the orders for the season from the head gardeners, return to Glasgow, get the orders processed and packed and despatched by train to all parts of the country, it's a bit easier than that nowadays!

    The way in which we buy gardening products has changed over the years and so has the way we do things here at Daggs. However we are committed to operate under the same time honoured principles that our business has established over the last 100 years:

    Daggsonlinecouk Dispatch Policies

    DELIVERY

    FAST, SAME DAY DESPATCH

    We will†endeavor†to despatch your goods on the same day your order is placed, if it is received before 12 Noon (Mon-Fri).†
    If your order is received after 2pm on Friday or over a weekend it will be despatched on Monday.

    EXPRESS NEXT DAY DELIVERY

    We offer an†Expedited†Next Day Delivery as an option on all of our products.

    When an order is placed before 12pm Mon-Thu, your order should be with you the following day. Orders placed on Friday will be delivered on Monday.

    Please be aware however, that we cannot guarantee delivery dates as the delivery itself is performed by a third party courier. Whilst delivery failures can happen it is very unlikely.

    Channel Islands, Isle of Man, Highlands & Islands of Scotland, & Northern Ireland: Whilst Express Delivery is offered for these areas, courier services typically take 48 hours or longer to deliver to these areas.

    Please Note - Heavy Items over 15 kilo will be subject to additional charges if being shipped to any British Island or Northern Ireland ( Please Note Skye is excluded from this Charge )
    We will contact you if additional shipping charges are required prior to despatch.
