    I have worked in the hair and beauty industry for over 20 years. I am qualified in both hairdressing and beauty therapy as well as being a qualified lecturer in both.

    essentialbeautycare Dispatch Policies

    I post every morning Monday to Friday, orders and payments that clear before 10am will, in most circumstances, be dispatched the same working day. Orders and payments that clear after 10am will be dispatched the next working day.

    To UK postal addresses I post my items Royal Mail standard 1st and 2nd class and I endeavour to post the same or next working day. Most of the parcels I send are sent via Royal Mail Signed For. Should you choose Signed For delivery on other purchases please state this prior to purchasing as this will incur an additional charge of £1.10 + vat.

    I can also offer Special Delivery and a Courier service – these are both next working day delivery. If you would like your parcel in a hurry please let me know prior to paying so I can upgrade your parcel before you pay.

    For international addresses recorded delivery is additional, please ask for a quote, and is an insured service.

    For large items that will not fit though a letter box and for recorded items, If you are out when the postman tries to deliver, the postman will leave you a calling card and your parcel will kept at your local post office or sorting office for you to collect, if you fail to collect your parcel it will be returned to sender. In the event of your parcel being returned to sender I will inform you I have your parcel and I can either re-post at the original posting cost or refund the cost of the item only.
    Any loss or damage to your parcel must be notified within 5 days of receipt of your parcel.

    I get proof of postage on every item I send out, and I will only post to the address given by you though Amazon. Please make sure your postal details are up to date, I don't know if you have just moved and haven't changed your address!

    In accepting standard post there is no guarantee that Royal Mail will deliver in the time frame specified and they have 15 working days to deliver your parcel. In the unlikely event your item goes missing in the post I will need to contact Royal Mail to log a complaint, I will forward your details to Royal Mail and during the course or their investigation may contact you about the lost item. Royal Mail do not consider a package missing until 15 working days after posting (that's three weeks), 30 days for international destinations. I cannot put in any claim with Royal Mail until 15 workings days (30 days for international items) have passed from the date of posting.

    I understand how annoying and frustrating a delayed or lost parcel is and will do everything I can to help. However, I cannot control Royal Mail or it's postal workers.
