What's your returns policy?
If for any reason you are unhappy with your purchase, you can return it to us in its original unused condition within 30 days of the date you received the item and we will issue a full refund for the cost of the item. If you wish to return goods to us you must send them back to us at our contact address at your own cost and risk. We will be unable to issue refunds for items that we do not receive.

You have the right to cancel your order within seven working days of receiving your purchase. This seven day period begins the day after you receive the items from us. Please notify us in writing or via email within seven working days that you wish to cancel your order and that you intend to return the item(s) and we will be happy to offer you a full refund including any delivery charge.

We are unable to exchange items that are not damaged, defective or incorrect.

How is my order delivered?

All orders (£4.95 or free over £46) are sent with Interlink Express and once despatched should arrive the following working day (Weekends and Bank Holidays are not classed as Working Days). Please allow extra time for orders going to Scottish Highlands, Islands and Northern Ireland and other remote destinations.

Expedited Delivery (£7.95) orders are sent out with Interlink Express for delivery the following working day. We despatch all expedited orders on the order date (if placed before 2pm and a working day) orders placed after 2pm will be despatched the following working day. Please allow extra time for orders going to Scottish Highlands, Islands and Northern Ireland and other remote destinations.

If your not home
Should you be out when Interlink Express try to deliver they will try to leave your parcel with a neighbour or in a safe location around your property. If this is not possible then you can re arrange a different delivery date. They will attempt deliver a maximum of 3 times before sending the parcel back to us.
Please note to change the delivery address once your order has left us there will be a re-delivery charge of £4.95.

    About Dawson's Department Store

    Dawsons Department Store is a family owned business located in the centre of the market town of Clitheroe in the Ribble Valley, Lancashire. Originally opened as an ironmongers and fireplace merchant serving the rural farmers, we have expanded into the leading independent houseware store in the area. Our departments now include Cookshop, Moorcroft, Poole and Royal Crown Derby, Hartman Garden Furniture, Weber BBQs, Denby Pottery, and DIY, Dorma, Sanderson, Bedeck and Sheridan Bedlinen and Christy Towels, Giftware and Luggage and Handbags. In 2002 a café wine bar was added to the store and in 2004 we started trading our wares on the internet. For your peace of mind we have now been located at 54-56 King St, Clitheroe for over 30 years and we are a member of AIS ( Associated Independent Stores) the largest independent group of non food retailers in the country. It is through this backing that we are able to offer extremely competitive prices with the knowledge that should you need after sales service then we can be contacted either on the internet or on the phone. We aim to be competitive on our internet sales. We will try to match any price that is found on other sites.
