  • How will I know when my  order has been dispatched?

You will receive an email  once your order has been dispatched.

  • How long can I expect to  wait for my order?

Our standard delivery time  is 1 to 2 days but we ask that customers allow up to 3 working days for orders to arrive.

  • What will happen to my order if I am not home when it is delivered?

All of our deliveries are made on a signed for basis unless you can specify a safe place to leave your order in the event of you not being there. If you have a safe place then your order will be left here with a card  posted to let you know that it has been left for you. If you do not have a safe place then a card  to say that a delivery has been attempted will be left for you and you can call to re-arrange a more suitable delivery time.

  • How long will my order be  held for delivery?

Our couriers will attempt delivery on two occassions, if no one is available to take the delivery and no safe  place is specified then cards will be left and we will try to contact you to let you know that your order is awating delivery, if no response has been made  from you within 5 days your order will be returned to Fine Wine Sellers.

Payment and Refund:

  • How and when is payment  taken from my account?

Once you have submitted  your order on and payment details the payment will immediately be taken by from your account, once we have received notification of this your order will be dispatched.

  • If I have placed an order and then change my mind can I request a refund?

If the order has been placed but the goods have not been shipped (orders are usualyy shipped at 3.30pm) then you would be entitled to a full refund which would be made within 30 days.

    About Fine Wine Sellers

    Fine Wine Sellers based in Great Baddow in Essex.

    Our aim is to offer a great selection of fantastic wines and Champagnes but at realistic and reasonable prices. We source and supply wines that are all of restaurant quality and that we would all be more than happy to drink ourselves (and do).

    We understand that people have different budgets and tastes and we reflect this in the fantastic range we offer.

    We are a big enough company to offer the best in terms of range and service but we are small enough to really care about our customers needs and there is always one of the Fine Wine Sellers team on hand to assist with any advice or questions.

    We dont just offer basic wines and Champagnes we stock a whole range of products including some specialist and organic wines which we are going to be increasing into a larger range, spirits and gift options.  We also try to suggest a suitable food match for all of our products.

    Our aim is to offer a service and range of products that far exceeds any other competitor out there, we have a passion for the wine and other products that we sell and we hope to reflect this in our service and range.

    Fine Wine Sellers Delivery Rates

    You will be charged £5.99 per delivery address, irrespective of the number cases you order. Deliveries can be made to anywhere in the United Kingdom including Northern Ireland, the Isle of Man, the Scilly Isles and the Highlands of Scotland - for the Scottish Islands please call 0845 626 2220.

    Next day guaranteed before 10am is at a charge of £12.99 to UK Mainland only.  Saturday deliveries are £15.99 (if placed before 3.oopm on a Friday this service is only available to UK Mainland customers.

    We do not currently ship outside of the UK.

    Fine Wine Sellers Dispatch Policies

    Normal deliveries are from Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm. Any orders placed before 3.00pm will be sent out that day, standard delivery takes up to 3 working days.  Any orders placed after 3.00pm will be sent out on the next working day, orders placed before 3.00pm on a Friday will be sent out that day and delivered the following week; any orders placed after 3.00pm on a Friday will be sent out on the following Monday.  Any orders placed on the weekend will be sent out on the next working day. If you can let us know a safe place where we can leave your wine in the event of you being out, this will help to ensure you get your wine as quickly as possible.
    You can have the wine delivered to you in person if you prefer and, if you are out, the driver will leave a card and you will be able to arrange a new delivery at a time to suit you.

    Returns and Refunds

    If some or all of the bottles of wine in a case are broken or spoiled when they are delivered you should notify us as soon as possible. You may choose either to return the whole case or just the affected bottles for a refund. If any bottles are broken, the delivery driver will need to collect the whole case including the damaged bottles. Where possible, any wines collected must be in their original box to avoid further breakages.

    All refunds will be paid within 30 days of our receiving your notification of your wish to return wine, provided the wine has been collected by our carrier.

    In the event of you not liking a bottle of our wine, we will credit your account for its full cost. If you have bought a whole case of one type of wine which you don’t like, we will collect the rest of the wine from you and refund the cost of the whole case including delivery, provided that you have only drunk one bottle from it.

    You may cancel your order at any time prior to delivery (orders are usually shipped at 3.30pm) with no charge incurred. Any payments taken will be fully refunded. Any orders cancelled after they have been dispatched will be collected and a refund for the goods only will be given minus the delivery charge.

    At times certain wines may become unavailable. If this should occur and affect your order, we will substitute a similar wine of the same or greater value. If there is a particular wine that you are wishing to source and cannot find it on our site please email us at or call 0845 626 2220 and we will be more than happy to try and assist you.

    If you are disappointed with Fine Wine Sellers performance in any way then please contact us immediately at or by calling 0845 626 2220. At Fine Wine Sellers we aim to deal with all enquiries and complaints quickly and fairly. All attempts will be made to deal with your query immediately but in instances where we cannot, we will keep you informed about the progress until a resolution has been reached.

    At Fine Wine Sellers we are committed to not only great product and service but also care and responsibility to our customers, therefore we can only sell wine to anyone who is 18 years old or over. By placing an order with us you are confirming that you are at least 18 years old. Wines can only be purchased as gifts if the recipient is also 18 years or older. After the wine has been delivered, it becomes the recipients responsibility.
    Once the wine has been delivered, according to your original delivery instructions, it becomes the recipients responsibility. This does not affect your right to a replacement case if it is stolen as set out in our delivery terms.

    We will not be liable for loss or damage caused by handling of the wine by the customer, for example, spillages or breakages which occur after delivery.

    Alcohol should be consumed in moderation.
    A case of wine is heavy and extra care should be taken when lifting it.
    Champagnes and sparkling wines can be unpredictable due to the build up of gases and extra care should be taken when opening them.
