Handling Times

We aim to dispatch all orders on the same day the order is placed, if your order is placed after 3pm it will be dispatched following day. 

Orders placed after 2pm on a friday may not be dispatched until the following monday.

Christmas Dispatch Times 

We are closed for dispatching orders from the 24th of december until 30th of december 2013. All orders placed after 2pm on the 23rd of december may not be dispatched until the 30th. 

Returns & Exchanges

  • The easiest way to return your item is to complete the white returns form provided in the parcel & post the item back to the returns address.
  • If you prefer the security of using the amazon system then please request return through your amazon account but also include the returns form we provided as this will help speed up the returns process.
  • Unfortunately there is no way of exchanging items directly through the amazon returns system so please request return for a refund and include a note explaining you prefer an exchange.
  • Please be aware that if you return your item for a refund only the product costs will be refunded.
  • When completing the returns form please ensure you include as much information as possible as this will help to speed up the returns procedure.
  • Exchanges are free of charge, you will not be charged for sending the new item out.
  • Returns are normally processed within a few days but can take up to a week during busy periods so please allow a fair amount of time before enquiring about the status of your return.
  • Once your return has been processed you will receive a confirmation email.
  • Once a refund has been processed the funds can take between 3-5 days to appear
  • Any issues relating to payments or refunds are dealt with by amazon directly so please contact customer services

    Start Fitness Dispatch Policies

    Please note due to operational changes orders placed from Monday the 24th of February 2014 onwards may subject to dispatch delays.

    We apologise for any inconvenience caused but we hope to have normal service resumed by no later than Tuesday the 4th of march 2014. For more information on dispatch times please contact us directly.

    Handling Times

    UK delivery

    For UK customers there are two different delivery services available, Standard Delivery or Express.

    Standard Delivery

    For a Standard delivery we use either Royal Mail Tracked or Royal Mail First Class depending on the size of the parcel.

    Royal Mail Tracked is a 48 hour service that offers full traceability without requiring a signature for delivery.

    Royal Mail First class is an unsigned service that aims to deliver within 24 hours including saturdays. First Class does not provide any tracking information and is typically used for smaller parcels.

    Once your order has been dispatched you will receive an email confirmation containing the tracking number and the type of service that your order will be delivered with.  

    The tracking numbers for the Royal Mail Tracked service start with JC whereas the First Class Tracking Numbers will start with AAA. 

    As first class is not a tracked service the reference number will not register in the royal mail system and is only provided for proof of postage.

    Express Delivery

    For an Express Delivery we use the DPD Expresspak Next Day Sevice.

    DPD guarantee to deliver next day between the hours of 9am & 5pm and provide a sms confirmation of the estimated 1 hour delivery time slot.

    In some circumstances we may also use Royal Mail Special Delivery to deliver express deliveries.

    Royal Mail Special delivery's require a signature and offer full traceability as well as being guaranteed to be delivered by 1pm the next day.

    We aim to dispatch all express delivery's on the same day if the order is placed before 3pm Monday to friday,

    Orders placed after 3pm on a Thursday are usually delivered on the Saturday however this not guaranteed & it may not be delivered until the following monday.

    If your order is urgent please contact us and we will endeavour to send it using a Saturday guaranteed service.

    In situations where you know there will be nobody in to receive your parcel we can arrange to send your item so that it will be delivered on a particular day.

    International Delivery

    For Most international orders we use a Royal Mail International Signed for service, this is a tracked service that takes between 3-12 working days to deliver depending destination country.

    For smaller parcels we may use the Royal Mail International unsigned packet post service to send your order so we can keep the shipping costs low. This service does not require a signature or provide any tracking information.

    In Addition to using Royal Mail we also use other international courier services such as DPD or DHL.

    Our internal systems determine the best courier to use when shipping your order based on destination, service & price in order to deliver the customer the best possible service.

    In some circumstances we may also be able offer an international express service depending on the destination country, for further information on international express services please contact us and we will be able to get you a quote. 

    More Delivery Information

    In situations where the goods arrive when you are not in to receive the parcel Royal Mail may deliver the parcel to a neighbour under their "Leave with Neighbour" policy.

    In this case the courier should leave you a card with details of where the parcel has been delivered. 

    If there are no neighbours available to accept your parcel you will be left a card with details of your local sorting office where you can collect the goods or arrange a re-delivery. 

    If someone else is available at the address, they can sign for the goods on your behalf as the contract is to deliver to the address not the addressee. 

    Couriers may also deliver parcels to a neighbour and leave a card but this at the drivers discretion & not always happen. Alternatively the parcel could also be returned to the depot & delivery re-attempted the following day.

    In addition to leaving parcels with neighbours you can have the goods delivered to a different address to the invoice address where someone is available throughout the day , for example a work address.

    In the unlikely event of your parcel being lost by the courier, as the sender we are responsible for making enquiries into the lost item. 

    Once the courier accepts that a parcel is lost we can process a replacement order or issue a full refund.

    Royal Mail ask that we wait 14 working days for UK Parcels, 28 working days for International parcels and 3 working days for next day orders before they accept the parcel is lost.
