Please wait for possible late delivery until 7 working days after you have received the 'Order Dispatched' email. If you think no delivery attempt has been made within this time, then contact your local Royal Mail sorting office, for more information call Royal Mail Hotline: 08457 740740.
I was not in, what do I do now?
Royal Mail will attempt to deliver parcels only once, BUT you can contact them to re-arrange delivery.
If no-one is in to accept your parcel from the postman, a 'While you were out' Card will be left (please read the Postman leaving 'While you were out Card Note' below!).
Follow the instructions on the card, Your goods have to be collected from your local sorting office within seven days. If for some reason you fail to collect your parcel, it will be returned to us by Royal Mail.
Orders returned to us by Royal Mail, labelled "Not called for" or "Refused" may be refunded within 30 days through your Amazon account, but we will charge a minimum of £2.50 to cover our postage and administration costs.
NOTE: Postman leaving 'While you were out Card'
If a 'While you were out' card was not left for you by the Postman, you will have to make a complaint with Royal Mail. It is NOT Toypost's responsibility to leave these cards, it is the responsibility wholly of Royal Mail and their staff.
Royal Mail† consider items being 'lost in the post' only until after 15 working days from the dispatch date. Royal Mail working days are Monday to Saturday not including UK public holidays. If your item has been lost, please contact us through your Amazon account and we will claim with Royal Mail. Royal Mail will write to you to confirm you definitely did not receive our parcel. YOU HAVE TO REPLY WITHIN 5 WORKING DAYS or Royal Mail will invalidate the claim. Any recompense can only offered by us after Royal Mail acknowledges you have confirmed with them that the item has not been received.
On behalf of Royal Mail we do ask for your patience whilst your 'lost parcel' case is being investigated. They can sometimes be very busy and cannot immediately reply, but as soon as Royal Mail has confirmed with us that the item is lost your case will be finalised.
From over 10 years of mail order experience we know that a very high percentage of dispatched items do arrive in time.
If you are worried about the length of time it takes for your parcel to arrive, do check with neighbours, flatmates, the shop next door etc. and - believe it or not - check your wheelie bin or somewhere similar, where the Postman might have left your parcel.
When we receive an email or phonecall from customers, worried about a missing parcel, most of the times it turns out that the goods are at a local PO or left somewhere else, without the Postman leaving a card! A card should be left when goods cannot be handed over, but cards may go missing or the Postman simply runs out of them, because of the amount of parcels he has to deliver.
Can I cancel my order, purchased from Toypost and dispatched by Amazon? Contact Amazon as soon as possible; they dispatch items very quickly. Once dispatched, an order cannot be cancelled, only returned. Check details in your Amazon account.
How to cancel my order, purchased from Toypost and dispatched by Toypost? We dispatch 90% of orders within 12 hours, so if you wish to cancel your order let us know as soon as possible after you have placed your order. Find out from us if it has already been shipped, which is confirmed by a 'Your order has been dispatched' automated email. If it has not been dispatched yet, we can refund you 100% of purchase price and shipping costs.

Toypost Delivery Rates
Dear Customer, always look at the messages in your Amazon account for details about dispatch date with delivery and tracking details for your parcel.
We aim to ship your order within 1 working day, but around peak times (mid October-Christmas) dispatching orders may take 2-4 days.
Expedited orders are prioritised andare shipped within 1 working day.
Make sure that you order from us (Toypost) with enough time to solve possible issues with your order. If you order too late or check the contents of your purchase too late, we cannot be held responsible for any disappointment and frustration resulting from a delay in delivery or replacement of your goods.
Royal Mail ESTIMATED Delivery Times are:
2nd Class UK - 2-7 working days
1st class UK -† 1-3 working days.
Orders for UK mainland, sent by courier, usually arrive within 1-3 working days.
Orders for UK non mainland (eg Shetland), sent by courier may arrive 2-5 days after dispatch.
I think my parcel is late, what do I do? Once your parcel has been dispatched it is in the hands of Royal Mail or the Courier, but do not assume your parcel is lost, if it is not delivered within the estimated delivery time. Please wait for a possible late delivery until 7 working days after we dispatched your order. If you think no delivery attempt has been made within this time, then contact your Royal Mail delivery depot or local sorting office for more information. Royal Mail has a hotline: 08457 740740.
Royal Mail Tracked Delivery or Special Delivery parcels can be tracked via the Royal Mail website, please (google, yahoo etc) search online for Royal Mail, Amazon will not allow us to insert Royal Mail's web address.
If for some reason you cannot view online tracking details and the Estimated Delivery Date for your parcel has passed, then contact your local delivery depot with the item's tracking number.
