Q, How long do products take to be delivered?
A, Whether shipping from our distribution center in Gibraltar or Jersey, deliveries take typically 3 working days from despatch. In adverse weather conditions this can be longer depending on the severity of delays that may be caused to Royal Mail.
We aim to despatch most orders next working day.

    About Cartridge King

    Cartridge King (Jersey) Limited have been trading since August 2007 with over 300,000 satisfied customers. This is increasing by about 1500 new customers every week at present.  Although we have traded via Amazon for over four years, we shall continuously focus our great service to Amazon clients. In the past year, we have had over 80,000 customer feedbacks of which 98% have been positive, the majority of any issues being delays that are weather related. Please help other Amazon customers to recognise our expertise by leaving positive feedback and a 4/5 rating. 
    That speaks volumes for us! However, our goal is to get back to 100%! Our mission is to continously focus on bringing down the price of ink cartridges, whilst offering a real and honest service to all our customers. The price (product and any delivery charge) you see is the price you pay...no other hidden extras.  We must stress here that unlike some other organisations, we do not try and sell refills as new genuine products. 

    Please note that at times, we may ship out orders in smaller consignments.  So sometimes, although you may order more than 1 item, you will find that you may well get more than one package through the post.  And hopefully the goods will arrive to you on the same day. This we cannot promise, but typically it is the case.

    Please note that your items may be shipped from either our Jersey or Gibraltar distribution centres. We have negotiated shipping routes so that delivery from stock is no different from either source - typically 3 to 5 days.

    We only source manufacturers genuine and original ink cartridges.  They are not fake or compatible or anything other than the real thing as produced by HP, Kodak, Canon, Lexmark, Epson and Brother.

    Finally, we are very proud of the service we offer, but, as humans, we do make the very odd mistake.  (Currently running at 1 in every 1000).  If you feel we have made an error, please let us know and we shall put things right asap.  We do not have a long bureaucratic system.  We dislike admin which is great in that errors get sorted immediately.

    Our shipping rates are simple.  Shipping fees are included in our prices, no matter how big or small the order is!  Delivery is not free - it is included, and occaisionally you may see an allocation against delivery and other fees. All commissions due to Amazon (and any other 3rd parties) are included in the price you pay.

    Cartridge King Dispatch Policies

    Please be sure to check our delivery date range before confirming your order. To keep your costs down, we ship using a standard first class service via the Royal Mail but as they will tell you, this is not guaranteed.
    In recent months snow has caused some delays of up to 7 working days due to sorting office problems on a national scale.

    With more recent snow fall, we do not want any of our customers to be surprised if Royal Mail fails to deliver exactly on time.

    All orders are typically dispatched next working day.  We carry a large inventory of ink cartridges and our goal is always to dispatch within 24 working hours....which we have done so far and intend on doing so in the future! All goods are dispatched using Royal Mail and they are sent first class.  It is worth noting that our stock processing system sometimes breaks down orders into smaller consignments.  Although the order is dispatched the same day by us from either our Jersey or Gibraltar distribution centres, we cannot guarantee delivery will be the same day for all the consignments as we depend on Royal Mail here.  We are aware that on occassions, orders do get delivered on seperate days!

    In order to ensure Royal Mail are delivering to their published standards, please could you inform us if your delivery, or notification of an attempted delivery, has not been received after 5 working days of you receiving notification of despatch from Amazon. Thank you.

    Returns and Refunds

    If you have ordered the wrong product, all we ask you to do is to send the goods back to us recorded delivery within 7 days of receipt and we shall refund you as long as the goods are in a re-saleable condition and remain unopened / as you received them. 

    We ask that you send the good by recorded delivery as our distribution centre is very busy and we do not want to lose your items.  However, before returning the goods to us, you must get a Returns Number from us so we can track your cartridges through our system.

    If the ink cartridges fail for whatever reason, then again, we ask you to return these to us via an issued Freepost address and we shall ship out a new replacement.  Again, we ask that you get a Returns Number from us in this instance.

    If you order a Printer, Scanner, Multifunction or Media device from us that is faulty within the first 14 days of ownership, we will replace or credit this as a 'Dead on Arrival' unit.

    If you order a Printer, Scanner, Multifunction or Media device in error, we ask that you return it at your cost in a new, sealed condition. If the unit has been opened and unboxed, we reserve the right to charge a 25% restocking fee as the unit will no longer be deemed as new.

    Faulty ink cartridges are covered by a maximum 12 month return or replacement warranty.

  • Top of Page Why cant I have a VAT invoice

    We are unable to provide a VAT invoice as we are registered in Jersey and trade from Jersey and Gibraltar. UK VAT is collected from us on your behalf for HMRC via Jersey post where applicable. If you are a VAT registered entity, we are able to provide you with documentation showing this is valid and that you associate to any VAT return or accounts.

    Q, Why should I leave feedback?
    A, Feedback is a way of showing other Amazon users your comments and rating about its partners. Even if you think we have only delivered what you expected in the time you expected it, please leave us a comment and a rating of 4 or 5.

    Q, Why a 4 or a 5 - surely a 3 is average?
    A, Sellers are rated by Amazon on their feedback, and count an average or neutral rating as an underperformance - i.e. a 3 or lower is like a black mark!

    Q, What do I do if I am unhappy with the service?
    A, CONTACT US!!! We can only help if we know there is a problem... We supply hundreds of happy customers each day and its human nature to get in touch if there is cause for complaint or query.

    Q, Is leaving a 1 or 2 / negative feedback a good idea?
    A, Only if you really feel that we have done everything possible to sort out a problem and you are still not satisfied. The Feedback forum is not the ideal way of getting in touch.
