Some information if you are thinking of purchasing an edible cake topper from us.  Firstly choose the design you would like and add it to you basket.  We can add any message you would like to the design as each one is made specifically for the buyer.  Please email us with your requirements and message.  We will try and send all toppers within 24 hours of ordering, but we are very busy so this may not always be the case.  WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU: We need you to email us with the message you would like adding to your topper.  If you have chosen an age only design then we need this information also. Thank you for your order and we are sure you will be delighted with your purchase

I don't like my item can I return it?
Yes of course you can. The Distant Selling law states: you have 28 days to return an item, however, you must advise of the return within 7 days of receiving the item either by Phone or Email. Return cost postage is the responsibility of the buyer - Unless the item is Faulty or Significantly "Not as Described".
Please note that Bed linen must be un-opened as due to hygiene reasons we will not be able to offer a refund if the item appears to have been removed from the packaging so be sure you want to keep the item before removing from wrapper.

My item is faulty?
Please advise any faulty item within 2 days, either by Phone or email. We may ask you to return this item, all items to be returned via 2nd class post, on receipt of the returned item a refund will be applied to your account. It may be advisable to get proof of posting as we cannot and therefore do not accept any responsibility for losses however, proof of posting is not proof of receipt.

I have opened the item can I return it?
All items returned must be in a resalable condition, 
Curtains with pulled heading tapes are excluded from our returns, as is bedding found to have been opened due to hygiene reasons. All food items regardless of being opened or not are exempt from the Distant Selling Law

Please note that food and related items are exempt from the DSL and therefore cannot be returned.  Please be sure you want the item before purchase as we will not accept back any food related items.

Our Business is based in South Leicestershire where we have a Warehouse and a retail Party and Balloon Shop.     All of our goods are sourced from Licensed Suppliers or their Wholesalers as our aim is to bring you the best that is available, we never sell unlicensed products, seconds or Fakes. We try very hard to maintain our listings however due to the way listings are designed in Amazon sometimes it is possible for other traders to change images of items available, we check our listings on a weekly basis and any item found to be changed after purchase will be advised.

    As per the long distance trading law we are happy to accept back any item purchased, however you MUST advise of return within 7 days of receiving the goods, either by telephone or email. All return postage for unwanted items is the responsibility of purchaser, as is getting proof of return from the post office. Proof of posting is not proof of receipt and a refund will only be given once the item is received back with us.

    All items are dispatched via 2nd class post on same day as order placed, providing payment has cleared before 1pm. If expedited delivery is your chosen option, then your item will be shipped via TNT or Royal Mail Special Deliver - these services require a signature upon delivery. Expedited delivery is NOT available to most parts of Scotland and off UK Mainland due to a premium charged by Parcelforce.  Anyone choosing expedited delivery to these areas  (IV, HS, KA27-28, KW, PA20-49, PA60-78, PH17-26, PH30-44, PH49-50, ZE, BT, IM, TR21-25.) will have part of their postage refunded and their item will dispatched via 1st class Royal Mail.

    *Please note that some international orders may take longer than advised by Amazon especially at Peak Times* For Europe please allow up to 14 days and for Rest of World please allow up to 21 days

    Thank you for purchasing your item from Character Place, we will dispatch any order placed up to 12 noon daily providing payment has cleared, orders placed after this time will be dispatched on the next working day.  All of our orders are sent via Royal Mail 48hr / Second Class, items of value are always sent via recorded delivery. Expedited items are dispatched in the same way either via Royal Mail 24hr Tracked or Parcelforce 24, therefore if an expedited order is placed before 10am you should expect to receive it the next day depending on your region. If an expedited item is purchased after 10am you should expect it to be received 2 Working days after order depending on your location. Some Scottish areas and off mainland UK are not included in our Parcelforce delivery due to excessive charges.  Any item purchased in an excluded zone will be dispatched via special delivery or first class recorded delivery dependent on size and weight of item.
