This is what it tells me when I read about a game I'm interested in being sold by Amazon. Does this really mean that is how long it will dispatch in? If so, that's really long!

Yes.

Hi Wayne
Have you googled it?

Ok thanks for the heads up, I have Googled it but not found any definitive answer. I shall continue searching.

I ordered a book from amazon and it said 2 to 5 weeks. That was February 22 and they keep delaying it for a few weeks until they eventually just said they'll tell me if or when they have it. Absolutely risdiculous if you ask me that they're selling things that they can't guarantee. I'd say be wary of them, very wary. So many good orders and now I got this and just to say there customer service around delivery timing and stuff like that is also fairly shocking.

What game are you looking for Cameron?

Demons Souls on PS3.
If you have played both 'souls' games which one should I get?

Nick. says:
I haven't played either. Someone like Zorton or Burty/Bunny will be the ones to ask; ask on the Nerdy Shores thread, they linger there.;)

If you want Demons souls, it's in stock on Shopto. It will be dispatched tomorrow, with near certain delivery on Tuesday. (they don't dispatch on weekends, or so I believe).

probably dark souls - the servers are likely to be busier and the large game world is easier to get the hang of - however, demon's souls is a also a great game, so either would be fine.

Hi Cameron,

Sorry missed this earlier. I'm just going to reiterate what Burty said, but I would recommend on starting with Demons Souls. The servers on Demons Souls aren't busy anymore and I recently played it for nearly 80+ hrs on 1 character and only got invaded once. Dark souls is different in the sense that a lot of people are playing it and the servers are very busy. However, this isn't going to change anytime soon and with the introduction of the PC edition in August and possible DLC to come, I'd imagine the Dark Souls servers being busy until 2013.
Also, the US Demons Souls servers shutdown this month (this week) and can only imagine the European and Asian servers are soon to follow.
So in conclusion - play Demons Souls 1st - it will just add to your Dark Souls experience.
Sorry for going on.

Ok, thanks for the info. I do have a question though; if I am halfway through a level and want to turn the system off will I lose my progress?
P.S
I heard Atlus have decided to maintain the US servers for "the foreseeable future" so the servers aren't going down just now.

Cameron - no, you won't lose your progress.
You can quit out of the game at any stage and when you start again, it will pick up from the exact point at which you left, thus no loss of progress. The only time it won't allow you to quit is when you are in a boss fight or being invaded (the quit game option will be darkened). You can still quit by using the PS button and selecting Quit Game.
