Hey All,
Sorry for the lengthy title but was wondering if anyone can help me.
I have been calling Amazon.co.uk Customer Support on 0844-545-6508 but keep getting routed globally.

Does anyone have a number for UK based customer support area?
Would be very grateful if anyone knows and could enligten me (I am literally bashing my head off a brick wall at this stage)...

Many Thanks...

Why don't you do the online live chat? I've always found that really good at resolving issues.

Hey Lill - Yep, I have used that facility numerous times relating to this issue but gets me nowhere.
The cs rep channels your issue via email to account specialist's (I assume in India) and then you get an email response from them.

I have an address in London for a complaints department but can't seem to speak to anyone there or at least I never get anyone at the end of the line that is in the UK.
Cheers

I agree, the live help can pretty much resolve most issues. Certainly they were helpful with a major issue I had last week.

Hey Zorton,

I have found previously if a Live chat doesn't work I use the below method.

They send an e-mail regarding the issue. At the bottom of this e-mail there is a question asking something like, Did this solve your problem? and two links one for yes and one for no.

If I do not think that the chat agent understood what i wanted or have not seen the end result i was looking for, without a valid reason, then i click the 'no' link and follow the instructions to forward my issue onto another department. After completing this i usually get a call or e-mail responce within 24hrs, which usually resolves my issue.

I hope this helps.

@Si - cheers mate, Will try that now.

@Astro - hope I didn't get charged too much for that call. I thought that might have been the number for the centre in Edinburugh and you were in the know. Welcome to Gay network......thanks Astro!

@ Benny - will give that a try mate if Si's option doesn't work. Followed his instructions and waiting on a call-back now.

@Astro - yeah, got a bit of a begrudged chuckle out of it but they charge a fortune for those lines. Even if it was only a few secs. Not speaking from personal expereince mind ;-)

Cheers all for the help.

@ SI - cheers mate. Worked a treat.

Note - For anyone interested, the number Benny provided is where I received the call from and seems to be UK based.
You may want to take a note for future reference as the number 0844-545-6508 and 0207-084-7911 route you globally.
Cheers Benny.

Spoke to someone and hopefully will get resolution on the issue. At least they understood the complexity of the problem (thankfully).

Or

And they'll call you.
