I've seen a lot of discussions on here about GT5 but none yet (that I'm aware of) have spoken about the cars in the game. So, I started this discussion so that real car lovers and GT5 lovers can chat about the cars on offer in GT5 and what the best cars are, the best parts etc...

I'll get the ball rolling. I'm sure many people have bought or won a Yaris/Vitz (most probably to race in the Yaris/Vitz Cup). I've heard recently that you can get a 250bhp one. So, what have you done to your Yaris/Vitz? Or any other car you want to talk about?

I personally have given mine a mid-range turbo, engine upgrade and dual clutch. I'm thinking of upgrading the handling in some way but haven't got around to it yet, what does everyone else think?

Noticed nobody's made a sensible post yet so I thought I'd post this one in the hopes of more people posting.

Looks like green beens and a bit of grilled meat. I'd eat it.

Normally I would agree with you Terriner about the sensible bit - but I have to say that the picture of a woman rejecting a plate of food is laugh out loud funny - and therfore worthy of a place in any thread.

That is all.

I have an RX7 which I have tuned upto about 400Bhp and a few others including and Aston DB9

I did have this crappy MX5, but managed to offload that onto some unsuspecting fool...

I've got the same Civic which I also won. Haven't bothered upgrading it yet though because I haven't needed it. What other cars you got and what you done to them?

In reply to an earlier post on 26 Nov 2010 11:05:55 GMT
What did you use to tune it up to 400bhp and how much did you buy car for?

Bozz says:
It only cost be about 25k from the second hand place, then stuck the top turbo, all 3 engin upgrades, sports filter, titanium exhaust, and a few other upgrades

All in all the total cost was about 150k I would guess

I'm alternating between my 539BHP Maxda RX-7 efini Type RX (EK) and my newly-acquired Lambourghini Gallardo

sounds good, might try doing that. I've been thinking about buying an RX7 but never really had enough credits because everytime I get credits I spend them on parts for other cars. Most recent car I've bought is a Dodge Charger for 55k second hand. It's great at accelerating and taking corners after the parts I bought for it, only problem is it's got a top speed of 118mph.

WTF. 539bhp on an RX7, how???

Whats the handling like on that Cliffy? Mine is staring to get a little unpredictable under acceleration as it is, I couldnt imaging what its like with another 200Bhp!

In reply to an earlier post on 26 Nov 2010 11:34:46 GMT
I forget what its called, but have you got the rigidity thing on your RX7, it might make it a little less unpredictable and should keep it more stable.

There is aost issue there

I prefer to spend my credits on power rather than mundane things like stability and handling

In reply to an earlier post on 26 Nov 2010 11:48:18 GMT
ye me too, but I think that once you have enough power (like your RX7) then it's time to start making it respond better and go round corners quicker as you can make up a lot of ground on other cars by doing these things, thats just my opinion though.

"once you have enough power"

You can never have enough power...

In reply to an earlier post on 26 Nov 2010 11:52:05 GMT
ye true... ok, once you have maxed out your power...

It was a good starter car, miles quicker than the cars in the races you start in

Mine was a Toyota Altezza, I think I upgraded it from 158bhp to 207 and thats about all I did and its a great car IMO.

How many cars you got? I think I've got about 10 and I've only played for around 5 hours.
