Call Doc Brown and ask him to loan you his Delorean

Make sure he charges the flux capacitor up though

Look on ebay for a £20 paid code for game... tesco etc... this means you pay the rest but often only a £50-70 quid premium...

I know www.scan.co.uk have stock coming in on 12th December. You can pre order and they are a good company. If you live near Bolton you can pick up the item, if not they will deliver.

If you are willing to get out and about you will get one on launch day from a store,I have never Pre-ordered a console but have always managed to pick one up at launch,it does require a little effort but that all part of the fun in my opinion.

The console is sold out online until after xmas, eBay will be your best bet. You could try calling a few stores but I doubt any of them will have any in stock, it's still worth calling though as PS4s are going for upwards of £450 for just the console. If you decide to use eBay be sure to use PayPal/Credit Card as I'd bet my left bollock there's more than a few scammers wanting to cash in on the PS4 shortage....

Tesco will have some on launch night - they said so on twitter :-) - no pre-order required

I think the biggest mistake people make is trying to buy a console from a game store on launch day,and as Peter said there will be certain retailers that will have stock for launch, this is because a lot of places like my two local Tesco branches will not accept pre-orders so it's a first come first served basis.

Another avenue (which I took advantage off on the Wii U launch),is that people may pre-order multiple consoles to avoid disappointment or sell on e-bay etc, then may not have the funds to buy all the consoles that they have ordered, many game shops will be ringing the people who have placed deposits to check that the customer still want's the machine, and you will be surprised how peoples finances may have changed this close to Christmas. ;)

If you live in London or near London go to the PS4 launch, they have a few for sale. First come first served. Or else say sorry and pre-order for the New Year.
