Extra time for gaming, eating too much, drinking too much and seeing the kids with massive smiles on their faces !

That will do !

EDIT; Sorry I must not call them kids anymore, they are in theirs 20's ... but they still act like kids ;)

I am fully able to get into the Christmas spirit this year without worry or panic as all my shopping is already done. Organised or what?!

A Portal Gun says:
Christmas to me this year isn't too bad actually, since even though I have to work Boxing Day and New Year's Day I'm on,y obliged to work 2.30-6.30 anyway.

That being said I do have to do a network assignment and a systems development assignment too.

I hate Christmas.

I drank Advocaat with Cherry Brandy in it on Saturday.
Getting festive, tasted like when McDonalds did those cherry and custard (molten) pies.

Haven't drunk Advocaat since I was about 12.

AstroMonkey says:
Yeah for holiday weight! Boo for getting it off!

My Christmas tipple is Innis and Gunn, nice oak aged beer is the taste of Christmas.

I done a Snowball when I was about 17 and very drunk. Lynn Snowball. She was ginger and this is the first time I've ever mentioned this, I'm currently having a horrific flashback.

RAB it was surprisingly innofensive but I wont be going back for another one.

Thing is I'm having about 5 Christmases this year plus two work do's. First Christmas do next week, then a mini Christmas for my mum's side of the family on the 15th, then one for my dad's side of the family because a few people are going away, then the second work do, then a mini Christmas with my girlfriend at my flat, then we're both going to my mum's Christmas day then seeing all her family Boxing Day, and a week or so after that it's my birthday. The next six weeks are just going to be one giant hangover I think.

Quite the fancy taste you have there Astro, I'm afraid I'm a philistine when it comes to beer / lager relying on my local Asda and Tesco to keep me in stock of Stella and Bud. If it's a very special occasion like New Year I might push the boat out for a fine bottle of Jack D but my god it's expensive per liter.

At 31 and with Irish roots aswell as family currently living there I have still never tried Guinness, need to get round to it one day.
