The world has officially gone mental !!

I saw mate of mine selling a Samsung galaxy S2, THE S2 !!! for £500 on a local facebook selling site. When I asked him if he had gone mental he said its because it has the (free) game "Flappy Bird" on it. Then said that some Iphones are selling for thousands.

I told him id seen the story (see link above) but that's America we know they are mental, but he assures me it is happening over here too.

Is this real, are people really selling phones for hundreds of pounds over their street value because of one crappy game? is anyone really buying them ?

I know Flappy Bird has been taken off the App store and you cant get it, but for god sake its the most simple little game ever made. Someone could make a another pretty much identical in a heartbeat?

Anyone on here hoping to make it rich by selling their Flappy Bird enhanced phone ?

Joel made me delete it when I couldn't beat his score. It's only right that he now gives me £100,000.

It's one of these crazy situations where you tell someone mega rich they can't have something and they beg to differ. If someone wanted to give me a couple of grand for my phone I'd quite happily part with it, buy a new one and book a holiday.

No flappy birds on it but it's a nice phone with a picture of me and Joan Rivers included in the memory.

My phone still has a picture of Paul's mother spread eagled on it so technically it still has 'Flappy Bird' on it.

Gentleman, start the bidding.

This is probably just fallout from the $100k Nes World Championship cart. It's ridiculous the news agencies that reported it didn't do a follow up telling the public the auction was hijacked and the serious bidders dropped off at $3000....

A quick search on eBay and you can see how people now think they're now sat on gold mines.

£2.6m Flappy Bird iPhone 5

£100,000 Goldeneye 64 cart

£10,000 Pagemaster Snes

£10,000 Psycho Pinball Mega Drive Cart

£2900 Aliens Colonial Marines

There is also hundreds of Flabby Bird iPhones on ebay now, who would actually pay for £10k for this? I imagine it's just a bunch of kids who have no idea about the value of money....
