Suspended Xbox account?

Problem is an out of date Visa debit card. I tried contacting Xbox support via there web page but still heard nothing. If i log into my Xbox Live via my laptop I see a message telling me I have an outstanding balance on my account. How is this possible and how can I sort it?

I dont want to add a different Visa card, I would prefer to just buy a prepaid card.

Any ideas ?

Don't want to worry you but there has been a few accounts hacked recently, something to do with breaking into the EA accounts and getting some Xbox live customer info. Best bet is to phone the customer support team, number should be easy to find on their web page.

I think it's because you're on a rolling subscription so when they try to bill you it marks you as having an outstanding balance. I'd recommend phoning them up and saying you don't intend to subscribe by card again and that should allow you to log in as a silver.

Kel, normally when your sub comes to an end they give you an extra 2 weeks or so in which to sort a sub out. I guess that's where the overdue payment part comes in. Once you resubscribe, it will probably take that 2 weeks off your new sub.

They just kept telling me to edit payment option and add another card or use Paypal, I just wanted them to lift the suspension so i could use the code. I think the easiest for me would be to just use Paypal to get back on live again and then remove it as my method of payment so I can go back to using codes.
