AstroMonkey says:
Mine is with the courier, I hope he's nothing like the courier from fallout New Vegas because if he forgets his main objective and gets sidetracked trying to elect a new sheriff for Primm, launching a ghoul into space or looking for lucky star bottlecaps for the next few months I'm going to be mighty miffed.

also my order says "dispatching now" and has done for the last 2 hours

i'm not sure amazon fully understands the meaning of the word "now"!

Posted on 28 Nov 2013 09:35:00 GMT
I've had the 'dispatching now' status for days on previous orders sometimes. :-)

Posted on 28 Nov 2013 09:35:34 GMT
Mine has said dispatching now for nearly two hours! Now understanding temporal mechanics as I do (I watch a lot of Star Trek) - NOW means in the present and therfore to maintain the status of "Dispatching" continually in the present means that my PS4 must - by definition - be stuck in some sort of temporal loop.

My question is - what are Zon going to about it and can they do it without breaking the space-time continuum?

A grown man shouldn't be this excited about getting a new toy - that you play games on ;-)

i can't complain too much - as a parent the term "in a minute" can mean anything from 5 minutes to 2 hours and really means "when i can be bothered" :)

djburty says:
amazon should change it to "dispatching when we can be bothered"

I won't be leaving the house until early evening at the earliest to take the girlfriend out for a drink - that's assuming I hear her knock on the door whilst I'm engrossed in playing Killzone.

I changed my delivery from first class to expedited because with first class it was showing a two day delivery window. Not sure if it will make any difference and it didn't cost me any more.

"lock up ps4 games"

You gonna pack it away or does it get locked behind a door?

EDIT

Sorry. I thought you meant you're locking your console away.

we have a lockable cupboard where all the "adult" games and films go - both kids are under 10 so most games aren't appropriate - i also have parental locks on dl games on ps3, although that hides what the game is so i have to guess which game it is :)
