I played it at a friends house years ago, great game, liked the concept, but Soul Calibur has since taken that idea to the top and bettered Squares effort.

For Bushido Blade all I remember is spending ten minutes chopping down bamboo then getting killed in one hit. I loved it. Second one was nowhere near as good.

OK.

Here we go guess this one....

Platformer, 16 bit era, non human main character, likes to crack a few witty lines. Good sequel then the series died out.

Don't suppose it was Bubsy, was it? I loved those games. Well, the 2D ones. The 3D version was brutal.

Damn it thought you would guess Earthworm Jim.

Yeah it was Bubsy.

Nah, look it up, one of the earliest mecha PS1 games from Psygnosis all the way back in 1996.

Here we go.

Once seen as a rival to MGS, short lived stealth action game, high production values, very cinematic has open world elements mixed in. Robocop style satirical humour.

Yes, the motorcycle sections were a pain but the rest of the game was very good.

Your turn, mate.
