I guess that's all subjective though Carl - I think £260 is a fair price for a Vita, game and memory card. I can understand why others won't, but I like gadgets and having had my hands on one I know it's worth getting at launch.

I doubt it Carl, there already losing money on the Vita, so I don't see how they can lower the price at all, let alone by £130.

But the PS3 has also been out a lot longer? It's just how consumer electronics work - the release at a higher price and gradually lower it to increase sales. There are those, like myself, who are willing to buy them on release (as I did with the PS3, though even then I knew it wasn't a decent price), then there are those who will want to wait.

As for Sony not supporting the PSP? That's an argument that always seems to come out, but again - that's subjective. There are a lot of fantastic games on PSP. A lot. But most of them are JRPGs or have had to be tailored specifically to work with the portable/one analogue stick.

Now with two sticks, touch screen and motion control there's far more interest in developers to make games for it since it's more akin to something on the PS3 with the two sticks than having to make compromises to make it work with just one stick.

The PSPGo was a stupid idea though, I'll admit that. You can't say they didn't support it (10 free games!!1! Please buy it!!!1!) but it was a stupid bloody idea.

Had a good evening on dd, mmm and myself tackled summit on insane Witt the help of 2 randoms with success, tricky stuff but we got there, I also have blasticus's's aplenty so have one for mr shire.

Still need to grind summit as I'm still not happy with my animus and I think I need one for each character anyway.

Tomorrow I'll be on after I've fallen out with my router trying to port froward for DROTR, which won't let me and lady m connect, Boony, give us a shout for dd help, mmm definitely appreciated being ale to get down and dirty with a rapier, rather than just sticking up towers.

Nws mmm, fighting through summit was great fun although you now have a squire animus which I do not! I'm tempted to start a dps monk as they are supposed to be the best for dps...

Wrt trying the other classes, the only class I've not got on with is the apprentice, some people use him for anti air but I've found the ai on his towers as stupid as the harpoons, still, I'll respec mine and give it a try.

Hopefully we can lure Timmy away from his work for an hour or so tonight?

Might have a half day today to take my mum to the hospital so dependant on how long that takes might get a bit of grinding done on a huntress.

It's unlikely that you'll drag me away from my work tonight, however, it is due in tomorrow so I will be free to team up tomorrow night. I'll even get on early and grind away at a DPS character of some form.

having thought about it i now realise the error of my ways - i criticised Sony for the release of the pspGO - but in no worse terms than timmy did and cerainly not using any rude words - however, i suppose i did start my post with it and so maybe it was more highlighted than at the end of timmy's longer post?

i'm surprised at the seemingly arbitary nature of the recent censoring - but i guess that's what you have to put up with in a public forum :)

i had a post deleted off the RATS thread that was in no way offensive - i was just talking about how i'd just completed uncharted 3 and that it was very good, very spectacular, but just not as good as U2 in pretty much any way, (the graphics are as good, the game itself is still excellent, but it doesn't live up to U2).

maybe amazon delete anything that criticses sony!?

The censoring does seem to have gone a bit nuts recently.

Mojo, i've been cracking on with DD and have a level 12 knight now. I've put all my stats in damage and I though all was going well. I can do the first level comfortably on medium but seem to struggle on higher difficulty or different levels. I think i need a coop partner lol. I'll be on Tuesday evening if anyone is about?

Boony, message me and I'll come help you with some strategies, realistically you need to be mid 30's before you can progress, you are putting all stats in tower damage? Absolutely nothing else??

Timmy, got a not bad blasticus for your huntress, when she gets up to level 60. I'd grind your huntress for you but don't think it's possible.

Lady m, Saturday was indeed a let down. Port forwarding basically means messing with your router settings until you can no longer get on t'internet, then ringing BT to get them to sort it out.

I've since had a look and I can't find the specific ports required for DROTR, only dr2 so I'll try those but I don't have a lot of hope as they have to be very specific.

Okey dokey Mojo. Sounds like a pain in the derrier. Fingers crossed the DR2 ports work because I don't fancy it solo.

anyone know of this incompatability on the 360 as I have never heard of any, yet like you guys suffered problems years ago trying to connect with my bro on MW, we both had to port forward to fix the issue, was wondering if its a ps3 thing? and whether programing or hardware? don't know anything about what causes it mind

Pete, the man to answer that question put himself into forum exile. I personally, only know enough about it to know that a) it sometimes needs to be done to get a game working, and b) when you get it wrong you spend a fair bit of time on the phone to India ;p

who eventually just tell you to reset the router after 2 hrs of confusion. :) i've never had any luck with port forwarding myself.
