I agree.

I only started to think 'this could be next gen' when the cars crashed and the shoot out began.

The Field of view effects, lighting on the cars, explosions and how smooth the action was, just aren't possible on PS360.

It will look much the same as the PC version on console imo but with the effects all scaled back and obviously running at a lower resolution / framerate like all console games.

Looks like a really great story and something different for a change which was the most exciting thing about the game for me.

Wow. Dishonoured really does look rather special. Could be the next great new franchise. Defo on my wish list.

What do you guys think of the Far Cry 3 demo at E3? I've never played a Far Cry game, but the E3 presentation looked great. Dishonoured looks a bit similar; is it, lol? The first-person view, the stealth, the jumping off a platform and burying a knife into someone's neck looks similar!

Just watched the Far Cry 3 demo today, looks incredible, loved the original on PC but couldnt get into the second one, third one is one of the few games i will pre order this year tho !.

I think Dishonoured and Far Cry look to be totally different games. Dishonoured seems to have an element of Bioshock to it with the powers and even has a similar art style. I'd say Dishonoured is probably my most anticipated single player this year now after Far Cry 3 and Halo 4. Definitely on my radar.

I liked the look of ZombieU game play. The tablet usage seemed good in parts - aiming with sights, scanning areas moving the controller around in front of you to mimic as if you're in the actual room, inventory selection etc. Graphics looked good but didn't appear to be any better than current Gen.

I also watched game play of Crysis 3. Looked as good as ever.

1. Borderlands 2
2. Arse Creed 3
3. Pikmin 3
4. Beyond: Two Souls
5. DmC

No honourable mentions... I struggled enough to make a list of 5 games from what has been one of the worst E3's ever lol.

"I really want next-gen to be a leap forward in A.I."

Sing it!

I am very impressed with The Last of Us, and it's "Wide Linear" setup. A.I has been completely overlooked for too long. Can anyone name any games that really do have great A.I?

So when you crawl into an air vent, and they see you, but give up after time...that's good A.I? :D It's good for a game, yes, but it's still stupid. What I want is scary good A.I, one that could beat online players on BF3 ;)

Yes, because they know i'm going to shoot them, so they quietly walk away. Very clever actually. :D

Any Halo game on legendary has the best AI I've ever played against in a game.

I watched the Splinter Cell: Blacklist gameplay - was more impressed with it than I thought I would be. Is it definitely coming out on PS3 though, or is it another 360 exclusive like Conviction?

Think it's all formats and I thought making him younger again and different setting being the open battlefield as such was a good thing.

Yup, now that the dust has settled on the E3 gameplay vids, Splinter Cell was my highlight of E3. Maybe I'm just boring like that? I also hope it's out on PS3 although I'll miss Ironside.

I must admit after catching up on E3 game play videos I think Dishonoured looks like my game of E3. I mean I'm looking forward to Far Cry 3 but Dishonoured looks very very good and looks to have a nice mix of ideas that sets it aside from the typical first person stuff. Watch Dogs does look superb but not enough is known about the game. If it's truly open world, and not bogged down by set pieces and lack of decision making, then it could be exceptional otherwise if its too linear I don't think it will be as great as it appeared at E3.
