Hydrophobia Prophecy was not bad, I did feel that somehow they wasted an opportunity.
The update is out and it is pants, no discount on Limbo (like in the US). The only thing of interest is probably the card game as it seems to be popular.

I'm waiting for the GotY edition before I think about buying it.

It'll be available for £20 the year's end, and then by the time I actually get around to playing that maybe Assassin's Creed 3 and Dishonored will have their GotY editions available too.

Ha ha, sorry dude. You want to meet up one night soon? Shall we just go for the dodgy car park exchange rather than do it over a pint, because I just don't have much free time at the moment?

PS - you can have Asylum. I'm not gonna play it again and I need to trim down the ol' collection.

The demo for Journey must be pretty brief (or time restricted I guess)!

Really chuffed about the Wipeout HD/Fury content on Wipeout 2048 Vita - would've paid the tenner for that but to get it free for owning the PS3 version is immense. For all of Sony's faults, this Cross Play stuff is the business.

PS3 System Software Update (v4.20)

Countries: AE, AU, GB, IE, NZ

Tomorrow (26/06/12) we will be releasing a new system software update (v4.20) for PlayStation 3 which will include a few minor updates in order to strengthen functionality and improve your overall experience.

Firstly, we have revised specifications for the power-save mode in compliance with SCEE regulations. This means that the system will now, as default, be set to automatically turn off after 1 hour of no use.
These settings can, however, be manually adjusted via `System Auto-Off' in the Settings on the XMB.

Also, as mentioned in our previous blog post, system software update (v4.10) added a feature that enabled you to hear your own voice through the "Wireless Stereo Headset" when playing multiplayer modes. This type of audio feedback is known as "sidetone". Based on your comments, system software update (v4.20) will improve "sidetone" audio performance by giving you the option to select one out of five levels for microphone audio or give you the option to turn this feature off completely.

For those of you who use the "Wireless Stereo Headset "to watch Blu-ray or DVD movies on your PS3 system, this system software update will also enable virtual surround sound functionality giving you a superior audio experience.

We have also improved saved data management. You will now be able to select multiple saved data items and delete them or copy them as a group.
Additional details will be available here tomorrow once the system software update is live.

Cool, Thanks Hunter.

Bring on Avengers Assemble Blu-Ray Disc!

We added something no-one wanted in a previous update and now we are adding the functionality to turn it off - excellent. Wonder if this is why comms on MW3 have been shoddy of late?

Started to play LBP2. Quite enjoying it. Nice to play something a little different.

Anyone know where I should find the game save for LBP2 on my ps3? There doesn't seem to be one lol.

In reply to an earlier post on 27 Jun 2012 08:36:15 BDT
It'll be in your Game Data Utility.

R - Dual says:
Yes I worked it out last night after a bit of googling. Means I cannot back it up. I read last night that you can export and import LBP2 game saves but I'm not sure if this means I can actually back them up to the PSN cloud.

In reply to an earlier post on 27 Jun 2012 08:56:45 BDT
You can back up your save in the LBP2 menus - the back-up will end up in your Save Data Utility and then you can back it up onto the cloud :P. Quite a stupid way to handle it IMO...

R - Dual says:
I had a quick look in the LBP2 menus last night and couldn't see anything. I'll look harder.

Posted on 27 Jun 2012 09:07:27 BDT
It's in the Options menu under Profile I believe. Recently had to back up my save from the disc copy of the game and import it into the digital version.

In reply to an earlier post on 27 Jun 2012 09:07:52 BDT
I'll play it this evening and post on here how to do it if you haven't figured it out before then (unless someone beats me to it).

R - Dual says:
Cheers. I'll take a look later.

Trigger says:
Oh, I'll do that too when I'm next on LBP2 - I too wondered why I couldn't seem to play my physical disc save with my digital copy. No point in making it too easy, huh?!
