BTW I was reading about the possibility about an FFXIII-3 the other day (...), and in the same article, it was mentioned that FFX HD is a 'long way off'... might be disappointing news for those waiting for more RPGs on Vita.

http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2012-07-05-square-enix-teases-final-fantasy-13-3

"Square Enix has teased more Final Fantasy 13 content - and some are speculating the Japanese publisher means to release Final Fantasy 13-3.

Final Fantasy 13 and 13-2 director Motomu Toriyama told Japanese magazine Famitsu (via Andriasang) the announcement of something relating to the 13 universe will be made soon.

THERE MAY BE SPOILERS AHEAD.

Final Fantasy 13-2 ended with a "to be continued" message. Some took this to mean that Final Fantasy 13-3 was a dead cert, but it in fact related to DLC.

But speculation was further fuelled by the DLC itself, with the Lightning episode in particular setting tongues wagging.

"The [FF 13-2] Lightning download content had an ending that left a feeling of mystery and hope," Toriyama said.

"The day when the meaning of this will come to light is not too far off."

Will this announcement and game tie in with the Final Fantasy 25th Anniversary celebrations this year, which will also see the re-release of Final Fantasy 7 on PC?

An event is planned in an art gallery on 31st August in Shibuya, Tokyo. We'll know soon enough.

Meanwhile, Toriyama suggested the Final Fantasy 10 HD remake is a long way off.

"Regarding HD conversions, there is a lot to look into, so please wait a bit more," he said."

"Speaking of music, I went to a gig the other night, ArnoCorps!!"

Is that the side-project of the As I Lay Dying vocalist? I know he's got a Arnie-themed band, but I thought it was called something else... or maybe there's two Arnie-influenced bands :P. Anyway, sounds a bit tacky for my liking!

Anyway, downloaded Rainbow Moon... started on Hard and in the Adventurous style, as Burty recommended, but I think I may restart, keeping the hard difficulty but giving myself some sort of boost at the start... there's no trophies related to difficulty etc, the bonus you get for Adventurous (which I won't spoil for those who don't want to know) doesn't seem major, and I'm finding it too tough going to start off with :P.

You go to some weird gigs Silver!! lol
Then saying that, I went to a gig a few years ago where the band were dressed in Gorilla suits. But that was Halloween so it was expected. :P

Just got the Dragons dogma plat and it was a beauty too. Fully enjoyed it from start to finish and the only grind was getting 350 bits of equipment. :/
Great game though, you should all try it. :)

I played the Dragon's Dogma demo and I wasn't overly impressed with it TBH. I might try the full game when I can buy it cheaply second hand, but I've got more than enough RPGs to keep me busy for the time being :P.

Played through the Deus Ex Missing link DLC over the weekend and really enjoyed it!!
Took a couple of hours to get through and a nice addition to the game. Glad it wasn't included in the game at release as it would've broken up the flow of the storyline. :P

Started Space marine today, bought it for £10 ages ago and thought it was time to try iy now i've finished off DD. The SP is a solid TPS hack and slash and I enjoyed the Horde mode co-op. Will try the MP on wednesday. ;)
12 hour shifts for a while and work is clamping down on security so no posting for a while at work. :(

Posted on 10 Jul 2012 07:46:47 BDT
Hey Stew i've started Space Marine as well! Nearing the end of Chapter 2. I love the melee combat.. ramming into the orcs and using the chainsword to kill everything :)

I liked Spess Mehreen - the campaign was fun, but it had little replay value IMO so I've now deleted it off my HDD to make room for other PS+ games :P.

i got Space Marine for free when joining PS+ - it's pretty good fun, if a little repetitive.

Posted on 10 Jul 2012 22:30:06 BDT
Yeah it's a little repetitive but so are most hack and slasher games, enjoyable though and we're playing the mp tomorrow night for #WNG. ;)

Work sucks, not much more to say on that. lol
Can't wait for the weekend and get some gaming in, along with meeting some friends. :)
Everyone go see the Amazing Spiderman, really enjoyed it and was great to see the Lizard on screen! Listening to Rodrigo Y Gabriella alot right now. :D

Yeah youre thinking ofaustrian death machine! They are more of a metal core band. I think both bands are meant to be tacky, its just a bit of fun really! Not something id listen to on my ipod anyway!

Yeah im with Adam on the Dragons Dogma thing, gonna wait until its a bit cheaper..more like the 15 quid mark.

Also...Ahh Deus Ex! How i loved that game. Think I might play through it again and get all the download content! Was probably my game of 2011!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KHwafC6dlEQ <--- tune of the day for any Deathnote fans out there! (p.s. its a misheard lyrics video, which makes it hilarious!)

Even though I have the disc versions of FF7, 8 and 9 I gave in and got FF6, FF7 and FF9 off the psn store today since it still has that sale on for £3.99 each. Didn't get the digital version of 8 yet as I only had enough for three of them and I really hated Squall lol.

I started playing Rainbow Moon properly today - am very much enjoying it :). Very addictive, and a decent challenge when played on Hard difficulty. Also, I could kiss the developers for not forcing me into random battles :D.

Morning Chaperoo's!

Still not finished ME3 on the 360 so I can start 13-2 because I've been playing D&D Online through Steam, as well as about to start LOTRO and got a beta code from a friend for a game called Smite (which would be good in a Co-Op but was a bit boring SP)

as for the 13-2 extention...what about 13-2.5? I just hope it's another bit of DLC

Posted on 16 Jul 2012 18:22:49 BDT
You still not Finished ME3?? I'm thinking about playing through the Mass Effect trilogy again, first one on PC then the other two on PS3. :)
Can't get enough of Tali and Garrus. ;)

Oh yeah, for anyone who hasn't seen it yet there's a trailer for the upcoming Deadpool Game!!! Fark Yeah!!! :D
Saw it last night, really hope they show him as the Psychotic/Hilarious killer he is. :)

I was just wondering if anyone here has Dynasty Warriors Gundam 3 on PS3? I'm just waiting on my copy to arrive having purchased the game again, first time I had it I grudgingly traded it in towards Skyrim as I was short on money. What a waste that was lol. Anyway if anyone does have it or plans to I would be happy to play it online.

And now back to FF6... or to start 9 again!

I haven't seen this thread in ages!
Anyway, Ni Nu Kuni is turn Based (which I don't usually like) but it looks fantastic! Dependant on exams and other releases, could be RD.

djburty says:
"Anyway, Ni Nu Kuni is turn Based "

i don't think it's exactly turn-based - i think it uses an active time bar type thing so there is cool down period between each attack - it's kind of like certain final fantasy games (eg FFVII & FFXIII) as well as white knight chronicles (level 5's previous ps3 game) - what it means in practice is that the attacks tend to happen in a sequence rather than all at once so it can appear turn based.

Interesting, I think I'll probably like it to be honest, it could get me to enjoy that type of game.
