If its no bother or too much hassle, I'll take -

Borderlands £5.05
Portal 2 £11.45
BFBC2 £3.60

What would be the P&P for all three to Ireland and how do I pay you (can I use Paypal).
Cheers,
Z

I think my PS3 is knackered so I'll probably be looking to trade Skyrim soon and I'd be happy with £21. Most of my games that are sitting around are 2-3 years old but when I add them all up it's a nice wee total which is the main reason I wanna get rid.

A pack of 4 padded envelopes from ASDA are only a £1 and are perfect for sending games away.

Can anyone confirm if there is a backlog on trade in items at all? I send Mortal Kombat on 360 on 5th May and it still shows as 'in transit'...

Maybe contact Royal Mail as that's not right.

Si/Zorton,
Have found an easier way to tfr funds to forumites is to buy a gift voucher via amazon.
Zorton just needs Si's email address and it is sent direct as a code.
Obviously voucher can only be used here but it avoids paypal fees/swapping bank details, etc.

I was thinking it's gone a miss, sent 3 games together and they got there 4 days later, I don't think the change from 1st class to 2nd class helps with sending trade ins now!

oh well, RM claim form here I come!

Thanks Monkos
Yeah i would suggest sending me amazon vouchers.

Not sure how much the P&P would be as its all on weight;
http://www.royalmail.com/delivery/delivery-options-international/airmail/prices
I'll have to weight a few games to get the weight. I'm assuming it would be between £3-£4, but that is a guess.

Although i don't think you want the my Borderlands. £5.05 was for the basic game box, i have the GOTY ed and 'zon are giving me £9 odd for it just for a different box. you can buy it on PSN for less than a tenner at the moment.

Zorton says:
Si,
Send me the price for the 3 games I listed with the P&P to zorton@hotmail.co.uk and your amazon email address.
Once you let me know the price via email, will send over the amazon vouchers as Monkos suggested.
I had previously owned BFBC2 and Portal 2 so no issue on codes. Does the original Borderlands contain any sort of online/coop codes that have obviously been used ?? My assumption is no!

Z

I'll send you an e-mail tonight when i get home, but i put the price for the original box by mistake i have the GOTY box only and i have used the codes, amazon are giving me £9 odd for it. You would be better off buying it off of PSN.

Grand - leave out Borderlands and just quote the price for other 2 games with P&P. Also, quote me the P&P price for 1st class to a London based address. Sometimes I get games sent to my BIL in London when buying off amazon and he sends them onto me for free using his company postage system...
Being a bit tight, but what the hell.
Cheers,
Z

Im having exactly the same issue - though amazon say there isnt a problem. I posted ssx on 5th may thereabouts and they still say not received ---I am very very skeptical about using the trade in service again.

Bordelands doesn't need an Online code. I got a pre-owned GOTY copy and was never asked to insert a code for online play

Yes, Borderlands was born in that innocent time before Project Ten Dollar.

It seems single items are going missing when I send them now, MK still 'in transit' (though I think it's found its way to an RM employees XBox tbh) and now Fifa Street still 'in transit' despite being sent on the 16th. Larger items seem to be getting there though (sent a large book and lot of 3 games after MK). Very strange indeed!

Anyone use Amazon Prime? I'm using the trial which means my Ghost Recon order will be delivered using Prime. Can anyone tell me whether I'll need to sign for it? I hope not cos I wont be in.

I would know the feeling, complained to the post office that alot of my stuff wasnt turning up and if they could look into it and they said their was nothing they could do. Then a couple of weeks later I got about 15 plastic bags with ripped open empty jiffy bags inside with a letter explaining they'd found them in an employees house lol cant say I was pleased. Same things just happened with my sisters local. Doesnt help that all posties look dodgy so its hard to tell the really dodgy ones :)

Did you claim compensation from them at all?

In reply to an earlier post on 24 May 2012 08:17:41 BDT
Ta Rodders. I can rest easy knowing that when I arrive home from work tomorrow I won't have a 'You were out' note asking me to call a phone number to arrange for redelivery. Imagine that - a disaster for a gaming addict.

Depends on the company handling the delivery, if it's city link you might have to sign for it still.

Dispatched via royal mail. I think I should be OK. Just hope they haven't sent it recorded or special delivery lol. It would be a bit odd for Amazon to dispatch probably thousands of games on release day via Amazon Prime and then expect a signature. Chaos would ensue. I need a new game!!!

With Amazon Prime you get free delivery. Originally you needed to sign even with RM (I remember having to collect Uncharted 2 from my local sorting office) though in most cases you don't If you wish to stop using Prime service do remember to cancel prior to the trial finsihing as it costs around £50 per year. A good deal if you order loads as all direct deliveries are then free, as I've said, but remembering that Amazon will take that out of the bank the same time next year can be a bit annoying as they've done this to me without a btw we need to collect Prime subscription fee again, which i wish they would

Don't worry I shall not forget to cancel. Got several diary reminders set-up to forewarn me. Just thought I'd take advantage of free postage for a month. Sounds like I'm ok on not having to sign.
