Bauer, did you really like homecoming? I only played it for gamerscore and it felt like such a chore.

I also feel like I am the only person in the world that didnt like the 2nd as much as the 1st.

Well I completed homecoming twice, 2nd time round I had the alien blaster so just romped through.
1st time I did it with a mate who also likes SH and he really didnt like it either, it felt like you were just being pushed onto the next area, didnt have the same progression as SH1 & 2.

Did anyone ever play the SH1 demo that came with Metal Gear Solid?
I remember being too freaked out to play it when I was younger, it was the school level and there were little white children things with knives (they were actually cut from the UK/European versions and replaced with monsters with claws, not as freaky IMO).

I know the replacement creatures, never saw the originals. I was freaked out by the little black, inky, semi-transparent baby creatures that kept squeaking and falling over. They don't harm you until towards the end of the game if memory serves, but they really freaked me out.

I thought Homecoming was superb. I liked Silent Hill, Silent Hill 2 kinda falls into a period where I lost interest in gaming so I won't pass judgement on it.

I liked the first silent hill but it needs the graphics updating. Home coming went away fom the control system of the orginal and 2nd one, some parts were good others very difficult. Team silent should come back and do another game how silent hill suposed to be.

Well homecoming was only published/licensed by Konami, it was actually Double Helix Games that developed it.
